My favorite local bakery, if you want to get a cake in the CU its gotta be from ricks! Theyve also got delicious burritos, pastries, and coffee, all of which is very affordable

We finally made our way to this delicious bakery/restaurant. We enjoyed a couple of vegan empanadas. Then purchased two loaves of bread to take with us. Everything was so tasty and such a good price.
While our vegan diet wouldn't allow us to try many of their deserts, but there are so many options available, from cakes to pastries. In addition they serve a number of lunch options.
We can't wait to come back This is a gem of downtown Urbana!

I had the ham and cheese croissant and was a 10/10.. highly recommend this place! Locally owned and operated and the family is some of the nicest people you’ll meet.

A very lovely bakery place with a small town charm vibe. The prices are very friendly for all people, students and locals. And that makes this place quite impressive!!!! They have quite a variety of baked pastries. I tried Rick's style croissant (😅🤣) both ham & cheese and spinach & feta cheese, they are very good. The churros here are also good. Recommended!!!!

They consistently have the best baked goods in town. Pastries, cakes, tamales, and fresh baked bread are all very good. The service is fast and friendly but they frequently forget to mark the tamales if you get more than one kind. They have coffee drinks and a nice seating area. There is plenty of street parking downtown that's within walking distance.
