Interesting place to walk in and see / hear bands play. We were tourists in the city and glad we stopped in versus another sports bar . . . Although with "Rose Bowl", I originally thought that was what it was.

Attended two shows for the Pygmalion Festival. Venue was a fun and intimate place to see live entertainment and enjoy some great beers on tap! Safe, free, well lit close parking was a bonus. Many food choices nearby.

I love the rose bowl, Ive been a regular for a few years now. The environment is very friendly and they're always hosting fun events. Their the best nightlife spot in Urbana and they are an ally. They hose pride events and a lot of my fellow queers, gays, and thems hang out around here. Only complaint is that their sour selection is not good. :( as an advice sour consumer I wish they carried more and better choices. Maybe some Distilled sours or the dutchess ?. Anyways if you haven't check out the rosebowl - look on their website to see which events are coming up, the live music and DJ's are great!
