Hard to find good halal food close by. I will here and spend a fair amount of money on quality tasty food. Dolma is my favorite, so I will always get it as a side. The workers are always so pleasant ☺️
Got take out on a Saturday night. There was no line, service was quick and friendly. The food all looked fresh and delicious. I got a gyro bowl on rice, a small hummus, and fries. The bowl was HUGE; I think it will last me three meals. The hummus was so smooth, creamy, and delicious. The garnish on top (sumac, chickpeas, parsley, and EVOO) was a great touch. The fries were crisp and hot with just the right amount of salt/seasoning. The fries are also perfectly packaged for a to go order in a paper bag so they don’t get soggy with condensation. I was also given 2 falafels to try; I noticed them hand making each one while I waited so I was excited to try them- they were crisp on the outside and light on the inside, not mushy or bland at all. Especially dipped in the hummus, they were great! Wish I took pics but I was too hungry and dived right in :) will definitely be back!!

Don’t sleep on this place. Huge portions and even bigger flavor. Treat your palate to something special and don’t forget the baclava, you’d be missing out. Staff are friendly and helpful, food is fresh and delicious. Restaurant is clean and clearly cared for. It ticks all my boxes.

I went to this location for the lunch special and have had previously good experiences at the Green Street location. Shawarma Joint did not disappoint. I got the lunch special and for the price I got a ton of food, good food too. It was a super tasty meal with excellent customer service. I will definitely be returning.
