I ordered from here to drive-through and I had the rudest manager and associate just the rudest. They didn’t make my order right and then when when I’m gonna ask them to make it right and I want it fresh fries, they told me they just rather give me my money back because I was the one being rude, but I was very upset that my whole order was wrong. I had cold food. I wasn’t cussing or anything or calling them about their names.

I haven't been to Steak n Shake for years. I just didn't like anything on the menu that I ordered. It was edible, but not worth going back for. Well, the Garlic burger changed my mind. It was delicious and for a decent price given what all of the other restaurants in the area are charging.

I have to say, Dee is by far the best service member of this particular Steak N Shake I've ever met! When he's on shift the food is ALWAYS fresh, quickly served and Dee's cordial mannerisms are what add extra value to every purchase I've made here! That said, I strongly recommend if you're hungry for Steak N Shake, Dee's store is a safe and consistent pick!

Soda fountain qr reader is a joke. The damn thing doesn't work half the time and you have to wait to let it reset to finish filling your cup if you let off the dispenser. No wait staff, shakes are good but Steak and Shake has gone way down hill.
Yes, stop here if you are traveling and need a spot to rest with a delicious bite to eat, do it! You won't be disappointed.
Our son loves Steak n Shake, the ones at home have all closed. He searches for them as we travel, but we have a strict star rating. He pleaded that the lower than 4.0 rating was because they have kiosks for ordering. We were glad we stopped. The burgers were delicious, hot fries, delicious shakes, and extremely clean dining area and restrooms. Also, the people working were delightful!
Please don't hold it against them that the style of the restaurant has changed. After all, they kept showing up and others did not, don't let the doors to your Steak n Shake close! Keep going, drive thru or dine in, just keep them open.

It's all self serve. No wait staff. It's sad. We miss Our old waitresses and waiters. We always had great service & liked helping the staff by tipping them. It's just cold & unfriendly, now. Won't be coming inside, anymore. We'll just use the drive through, if We're wanting anything, from here on.

Chili 3 ways was soup. Ordered Xtra chili beef, don't think there was any. Definitely was none of the red sauce on it. Another long time reliable food place going down the tubes. So sad.
