Best dining experience in town ever.
I literally just ordered a coffee and the shop owner give us a sample of their new avocado smoothies. Then I feel so hungry so me and my friend ordered 2 beef sandwiches. 24$ for everything on the table. Amazing Kebab meat and amazing hospitality!!!! Also great pickles.

Google says this place opens at 10 am, but when we got there we were told the owner wouldn't be in until 11. That was really frustrating as we were traveling through town and needed a place to stop and eat that had gluten free/dairy free options. Then, while we were waiting around, we saw a huge cockroach running around on the floor and at that, we decided to leave without eating anything there.

Urbana has lost a cherished institution to new management that has made very unfortunate decisions about the store that have ripped the very soul from the store and the fabric of our community.

No sandwiches. Vegetarian desserts. Grocery store/ international market. Under New Management.
Comfortable place to grab a great cup of hot chocolate, and it offers very good vegetarian pockets. I was grateful that they made me a hot chocolate with oat milk!

I really like this store! The staff is super friendly and always helpful. I love that they throw out expired items and offer reduced prices on many products. The store is clean and organized, making it easy to find what you need. Highly recommend checking it out!
They used to have the best scones in town. I’d go there only for scones often. But now someone else is trying to
Imitate those scones for the cafe and they are now the worst in town. Heavy and almost burned they’re so over-baked.

Stopped in on a Sunday. Never had a problem in the past. I ordered tea and my better half and daughter ordered cupcakes. We were left to wait in limbo for over half an hour while the gentlemen running the cafe just disappeared into the back. Nearest I can figure is my better half is covered in tats that could make a biker blush. I've never had bad service at this place on my own. I don't have a tattoo. We basically had enough after watching folks get served who arrived after us and left. Will not be back. There's better options for tea in campus town. Makes me sad though. Really enjoyed this place when I was doing cna classes back in 05. Used to get peach blossom tea when I was a driver 3 years ago. Didn't even see that as an option.

Excellent option in a typical campus town-Lamb Tajine pretty decent, a little mild but very good-Samosas and calzone a bit pricy/ but they made them in the bakery4.5 in real
Great place to relax.
