The indigo is a very nice hotel. It's near my job so a great option for me. It's a boutique style hotel meaning a bit art deco, which is cool. The executive rooms are nice and spacious with great decor. Some of them come with a sectional couch and a king size bed and the setup is nice. A home away from home. You can either sit on the couch or lay in bed and watch tv after a long day as it is situated in the middle room on a swivel mount. The staff is nice and helpful. The hotel is usually not packed and quiet. There is also a pool, gym and ample parking. The only thing that the hotel misses is a true kitchen (There are some limited food options and a small bar) which close at 9, but plenty of options in the close proximity.

Cleanliness = **Amenities = ***Service = ****Value = **Hotel Indigo was just okay. I've stayed at IHG Hotels many times and like their brand so a bit surprised by the overall quality of the hotel and room. Room was a bit dirty and needed touch up as well as some fixing which again not what I'd expect from IHG. This isn't a $29.99 motel... I paid $145/night and I found better value at Hilton Garden Inn Lake Forest Mettawa ($115) or Residence Inn by Marriott Mettawa ($136). I come to this area often but this would be my 4th or 5th option at best.

It's a hotel restaurant. Pricing is on par for a fast food joint but quality isn't as good.

The maintenance old white guy came into room twice. Once when sleeping. Again with do not disturb on. I should have knocked him over the head. But I opened door when I heard him and said I had a do not disturb and safety lock on. He said he could still get in either way. What a creep. There was also mold a lot. On ceiling. Disgusting.

Spent 12 nights at Indigo for a business trip. First room the heat did not work and the old musty smell was incredibly strong. Second room the heat worked, and the old musty smell was tolerable but the min-fridge did not work. The hotel replaced the mini fridge after a couple of days. Both rooms had large cracks in the walls in several places. The most unique issue was no cold water unless I ran the cold water for 20 min. Running the water like this was required prior to taking a shower unless you like scalding hot water. On the positive, the rooms are good sized.

The hotel did not have our Booking.com reservation when we arrived. But strangely they were able to register us without asking for our names... I guess they did not want to pay the fee. The room was spacious and clean for most of it. However, the couch was covered in animal hair. I asked for it to be cleaned but nothing happened. I don't know where the information got stuck, but this is not acceptable. The area is quiet which is nice. Air conditionning in the common areas was too high. If they don't care about the planet, they should think about the savings... Breakfast was fine.

The hotel was listed a “boutique hotel” It says restaurant on site. They had pre made breakfast sandwiches, served no dinner. The room was not as clean as it could have been. No sheets for pull out sofa. Power went out and the ceiling crumbled from the storm during the night. We told front desk and they didn’t seem concerned at all. They commented that they already knew about it.

Great food and excellent help ordering. For a party of 30, we ordered six pounds of smoked salmon and 6 pounds of brisket. Just the right amount of food. The salmon came with a simple and delicious cold dill sauce that paired perfectly. The brisket was so delicious it didn’t even need bbq sauce. The sides were all tasty - especially liked the grilled veggies! Thank you Real Urban - looking forward to our next catering event.

Prior to arriving, we called the hotel and asked for a handicapped accessible room. When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that all the king bed rooms were assigned, but our room had a queen bed. It did not. It was a double. We were then given a room with supposedly two queen beds. They were not. They were double beds. On the third try we were given a king room. Success. Wait. Not so fast. When getting ready to go to bed, we discovered that our room had no cold water. None. Whatsoever. Let me repeat. No. Cold. Water. Even the toilet water was hot. (And speaking of toilets, incredibly low toilets. This is 2022, people. Put some chair-height toilets in. They're not that expensive. ) Reported the problem, was told maintenance didn't arrive until morning, but gave me 4 bottles of water so we could at least brush our teeth. In the morning, still no cold water. We couldn't take a shower...too hot. Couldn't wait to leave the hotel. When I complained to the front desk upon check-out, I was told she was sorry and would I like a bottle of water? What? She also claimed that because my reservation was made through hotels.com, my room would automatically not be a king bed. My hotel.com reservation clearly states handicapped accessible, king bed. (Here's the reservation verbiage: "Standard Room, 1 King Bed, Accessible, Non Smoking (Mobil Roll In Shwr) - Advance Purchase Offers") There was never an offer to credit part or all of our stay. It was as though they simply really did not care. Would never stay at an Indigo hotel again. Major fail, IHG hotels.

Very relaxed atmosphere, decent ambience, the main draw back of this location is it's not a safe walking distance from other businesses at night. Staff was friendly, room was good, seating was alright.

It's a nice property; however, there were a few things that were concerning. There was a used towel under the bed that we had to remove. There was a time period were there were probably 10-15 clean towels that were in the middle of the hallway (on the floor) in the lobby that were just left there for awhile. The most concerning issue we had was that not all employees were wearing a mask. When we asked the front desk attendant if he had a mask, he let us know that he did and it was in his pocket. He proceeded to drink his soda and eat his food at the front desk.

Went to hotel for my birthday and a chance to watch the NFL wild card games. Check in went smoothly, food I ordered from grubhub arrived on time, then at about 9pm the hotel plunged into darkness, management was going door to door to check for smoke and to inform the guests of the power outage. It was like living through a Die Hard movie, my anxiety and PTSD kicked in and I went from an enjoyable night to terror. Not to mention now I was missing probably the best of the three football games I went there to watch. On duty manager handled the situation with professionalism and poise. Believe it was caused by the room down the hall from me they were awful since I checked in and walked past their room to get to mine. I believe I should be credited for the stay. m.facebook.com/story.php…

With covid some of the normal amenities are not available. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a large shopping center a few miles away now so there are plenty of dining options.

We ended up staying her very last minute and I was worried because I had never heard of this hotel. What a pleasant surprise. Fresh and clean. Comfy beds, modern decor. Great location, close to shopping and eating. The front desk was very kind in providing a few things that we forgot to bring. I would definitely stay here again.
