Mundelein and Vernon Hills have some great Indian restaurants. My personal favorite is Seven Spices. I really like the atmosphere and love the food. Seven Spices has their vegetarian dishes on the left and their meat dishes on the right. The vegetarian dishes are amazing and the chicken and goat are flavorful, perfectly prepared, and consistently delicious. I can not recommend this restaurant more highly and, after visiting regularly, the host said, "this is your restaurant". It is my personal favorite.

Best Indian food around. Just the right amount of spice and a flavor you won't forget at an honest price. Always my first choice.
Nice place for Indian food. Good food and customer service.
Affordable, hidden gem in a (good) restaurant suburban desert. The weekday lunch buffet changes from time to time, but is always good and tastes fresh. To me or tastes as close to homemade as you can get in a restaurant setting. Descriptions are also in English for those newer to Indian or for those less adventurous eaters. This has quickly become one of our regular spots for work week lunches.
Really happy with the food! We ordered late and night and the server was very nice. Garlic naan was SUPER garlicky, which was awesome and the chicken tikka masala was the perfect amount of spicy. Wish we lived closer!
Authentic South Indian food. Great variety especially for Sunday buffet. Must try!
Seven Spices has a fairly large menu offering a substantial selection of vegetarian options. Four curry dishes were ordered at my table. Despite each person asking for a different amount of heat (mild, medium, spicy), collectively they all ended up somewhere around the medium range, which was disappointing. The flavors remained quite different though, and a few minor issues aside, it was a very pleasant meal. Still, for local Indian food, although 7 Spices was decent, Mumbai Tandoor remains difficult to top.
This place is AMAZING let me tell ya'l. The food is great and the service is good. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. This place has to be one of my favorites. Love the Chicken Biryani and Chicken lollipop here, Not too expensive either. There is plenty of parking too.
Worst place I have ever been too. I placed my order by phone and they told me 15 to 20 minutes so I got here and they told me 10 more minutes and asked half hour later and said 10 more minutes, definitely not coming back

The service sucks. I ordered once, and it took then almost 45 min to get my order. The other people got served before me, and they said "it takes time." What a great place, right?
Have been to this restaurant numerous time and found it indeed astonishing at serving hygienic food. Nevertheless, hospitality towards the customers is what makes this restaurant special from other restaurants.
Food is of good quality. If you want to test Indian food in the area and then it is a good place to go to. It is also not very expensive. Usually buffets are good to go.
Food is excellent. The manager honored the discount of online order even though there was error on my part.
Love the food here and most of all, my 3 year old daughter loves their food. So this is our go to place, as she is a fussy eater. Staff is super nice and friendly. Definitely must go place, as food and people are both fabulous.
