Mundelein and Vernon Hills have some great Indian restaurants. My personal favorite is Seven Spices. I really like the atmosphere and love the food. Seven Spices has their vegetarian dishes on the left and their meat dishes on the right. The vegetarian dishes are amazing and the chicken and goat are flavorful, perfectly prepared, and consistently delicious. I can not recommend this restaurant more highly and, after visiting regularly, the host said, "this is your restaurant"....
Affordable, hidden gem in a (good) restaurant suburban desert. The weekday lunch buffet changes from time to time, but is always good and tastes fresh. To me or tastes as close to homemade as you can get in a restaurant setting. Descriptions are also in English for those newer to Indian or for those less adventurous eaters. This has quickly become one of our regular spots for work week lunches.
Really happy with the food! We ordered late and night and the server was very nice. Garlic naan was SUPER garlicky, which was awesome and the chicken tikka masala was the perfect amount of spicy. Wish we lived closer!
