Went here on a Friday night recently for the first time with a friend. The host and the waitress made sure that my first experience would be unforgettable. We received delicious appetizers on the house. Service was probably the best service I've received in a really long time. And most importantly the food was delicious and fresh. Staff put so much effort into their service and food. It was refreshing to have such a positive experience at a local restaurant for a change. Will be back again soon!

Walking in, we were greeted by the hostess. We had reservations for lunch and we were taken to our table. Waitress was super nice and very helpful. Me u selection is amazing. A nice list of a variety of alcoholic drinks, sushi, maki, sashimi. The menu was very impressive and so was the quality of our food. Very tasty food, temperature, and presentation. We got a jasmin ice tea, and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.

Another great meal at Blufish. Started out with the house salad and Bulgogi Eggrolls. very tasty. Had the Golden Ebi and Creamy Salmon Sushi, Vegetable sweet potato sushi and Filet Mignon. Everything was delicious and very tasty. For dessert, the Bamba is always our favorite. Service was always attentive and always refilling our drinks and water. Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant, we keep coming back.

Had a wonderful dinner in a gorgeous atmosphere. Decor is breathtaking! Food was spectacular. Every bite was a taste adventure. Cocktails were creative and delicious. Server was top-notch, very kind, and helpful/knowledgable and brought a nice dessert for a birthday in our party. So many appetizers and dishes to choose from. Rice bowls, noodle bowls, hibachi dinners, incredible sushi, hot and cold starters. Will be craving this place for a long time. We will be back very soon! Higher prices but worth every tasty morsel!

First dining experience here was this past early October and definitely looking forward to bringing my wife here again.This sushi house boasts an extensive menu for a variety of fish, Maki, apps as well as wine/cocktails. I absolutely love the aesthetic of this venue!Took my wife here with a change of pace in mind as opposed to the usual steakhouse/seafood outing, she enjoyed it.Prices are reasonable towards the value of food despite the increased price on just about everything roughly the last 4 years.Hands down the most superb experience eating sushi and our server who was also the bartender did a wonderful job. Rumor has it that he went thru extensive special forces training on becoming a master mixologist.Best sushi venue in Vernon Hills and easily one of the greatest in Lake County. A most highly recommended dining experience!??
Service was good, fast- but we found hair in the sushi rolls... that was not the first time unfortunately. First time we let it go as we thought it could happen.. but when we had the same situation yesterday , we told our waitress(she was very good), she took off one roll off the bill. I told the CB manager and he assured me that going forward , all cooks will wear hair nets/hats.

Fantastic food and outstanding service. We celebrated my husband's birthday and we had a lovely night at Blufish. The food was delicious and our server was very sweet and attentive. She even brought ice cream treat for my husband for his birthday. Everyone was really welcoming and super nice. We will definitely be back!
