What a fantastic Mexican restaurant 🌮🌯 El Poblanito Gourmet Tacos, it is a small jewel in Vernon Hills👌🏽. I really really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was excellent, fresh and a multitude of truly Mexican gourmet options.
The crispy fresh chips are amazing. Ambiance is on point. Service outstanding.
Is those kind restaurants that you want to go back to continue enjoying and discovering the magic of the food 🥑

We’ve lived in Lincolnshire for a few years and I knew there was another Mexican restaurant close to No Manches but never visited until this past week. I’m so glad my husband decided to try this gem! The BEST homemade chips, incredible fresh strawberry margarita, flavorful authentic Mexican food and warm, attentive service. Family-owned. What more can you ask for?? We will be back again and again.

They currently have a truck parked at Menards in Crystal Lake - tempted to start making the drive to Vernon Hills to also sit down at the restaurant. Such good Mexican food!!

I stumbled upon this small, cozy taco spot and was pleasantly surprised. It has a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a charming little patio that's perfect for enjoying your meal outside when the weather’s nice.

The food truly stood out—simple, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The steak taco was a standout: juicy, well-seasoned, and tucked into a perfectly soft tortilla. I also tried the burrito, which was equally impressive—hearty, satisfying, and packed with flavor in every bite.

Service was friendly and unpretentious, matching the laid-back vibe of the place. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or lingering with friends on the patio, this spot delivers great food in a relaxed setting. Highly recommended if you're in the area and craving tacos done right.

Hired Ramiro and El Poblanito taco truck for a party for 150 and it could not have gone better. On time set up, fast food prep, plenty of garnishes, and delicious tacos! Good pricing was the icing on the cake. 10/10 would recommend for any party.
