I don’t recommend this company as they screw over their customers by closing permanently with no advance warning. I’ll be going back to Starbucks.

Fairgrounds is a fun place with a wide variety of offerings. It's a little pricey, but it's a fun adventure. I ordered the flower power, and was disappointed at the strength of the matcha. Nevertheless, it was a nice place to work for a few hours.

I love this location! It's smaller than the rest but it's so intimate and every time I've went, the cashiers are the sweetest and have such good customer service. I didn't get a picture of BEC but highly suggest if you're looking for a quick bite before shopping or coffee while you wait around. The interior is gorgeous, very well designed. Perfect location!

Food good. Staff nice. Disappointed no coffee options with refills. Forced to get more expensive coffee.

Great selection of coffees! Did the tasting and they were really flavorful and I could definitely taste the difference between the three roasts. Very pricey though ($11 for a slice of cake!), but worth it for the variety. Wouldn’t recommend the hot chocolates much, the coffee is where it’s at. Ambiance is nice I guess. I’m a teenager, and it felt so trendy it was kinda weird, but that’s being picky. Check it out if you’re prepared to spend $

I love the food and drinks from fairgrounds. I haven't had anything I have disliked yet, and I have been frequenting this place quite a lot recently. If you don't know what to get, you can't go wrong with a simple latte. Otherwise, the Vietnamese cold brew is excellent as well! The salmon BLT is so good! Try this place, you won't be sorry!

I rarely write reviews but my experience at this coffee shop was just so bad I had to give everyone a heads up. I would have given them 1 star but the staff was working very hard to keep up with the orders. Kudos to them. It's the system that's broken, not the people. I stopped in on a Sunday morning to get a simple cup of coffee and get some work done. First of all the prices are very much on the high side, and the coffee is average at best. The worst part of my experience was the fact that after ordering my simple, basic, cup of coffee (a "Collectivo") and standing in the HERD of people awaiting orders, it took them 15 minutes to get it to me as I had to wait for them to complete everyone else's schmalzy drinks and food orders. They can take a cue from Starbucks and Panera, where the person taking the order will either give you a cup to get your own coffee from a separate location in the store where canisters of brew are available, or they will just go ahead and get it done for you and hand it to you right after you have paid. Also, they are cashless which is utterly ridiculous for those of us that don't want to put a $3.24 charge on a card and risk compromising our account security (don't ever assume every store has a sound data security system in place). I'm sure this place is great for folks who want to be trendy and be seen there, but for those of us that just want a simple cup of coffee quickly this is not the right place. Presumably I may not be their target demographic. Next time I'll head over to Panera down the street.

My first time going to this coffee/tea restaurant. The interior is very cute and unique. They have coffee, tea, hot cocoa, kombucha, pastries, breakfast and lunch food items. I ordered 2 iced teas and 2 scones. The tea is loose leaf and is fresh brewed. You can order it hot or cold and sweetened or unsweetened. The tea was light and fresh. A little watery, but that was probably just my ice melting. The scone was wonderful. I will be coming back to try other menu options.

Great atmosphere inside and outside. The BEST Coffee!!! I wish they could make cute little designs on top of the coffee and it would be perfect. The croissant was amazing and soft when they first opened but when I purchased again it was a bit hard.

Great coffee! Great food! Kombucha on tap which is a rarity! The food is pretty good for a coffee place and is made in house. Great seating indoor and outdoor! My only draw back would be for a coffee shop it's hard to find a plug in for your laptop, but there are outlets so not impossible. I usually have frequented the coffee shops in Libertyville and actually like the coffee and the ambience better at Fairgrounds!
