The food was noticeably fresh and super filling! Staff was also very friendly and helpful. The employee that made my food and took my order (Jay) made sure to answer all my questions patiently and the food was also cooked the way I wanted(: The kefta was delicious! Highly recommend the place!

I have been going to the Vernon Hills location for over a year, usually multiple times a week back last year due to it being my pregnancy craving. Last year I've never had any problems with my food or order. And the young lady who use to work there was always super friendly and nice despite our constant large orders. This year I can not say the same!! I usually order online, and just about every time my order has been incorrect, and the quality/portion sizes have really gone down hill. Order notes are clearly not read. Not to mention the food has gotten super spicy now for some reason. Never a problem before. Food use to be amazing, and I don't know what has gone wrong. They use to be my favorite go to restaurant, but sadly after last nights mess up we will not be back. I hope things will get better for them.2 stars because overall the food tastes really good, and the service is always quick.

I went there today owner Ali was great. I truly wish he makes it through pandemic because his food is great. I wish more people knew about this spot. Great food great service and Very fresh. Thanks again!

This spot is a modern causal dining option for all your vegan desires. They have so many different menu options that you can't find anywhere else! I've tried the meatless meatballs & spaghetti and it was great! They have a nice outdoor seating patio which is a great option with COVID. Pricing is reasonable!

Simply amazing. I can't even really recommend any particular item on the menu as they're all delicious. Gyros, Kefta and chicken kebob are a must though. Don't forget to load up on the garlic and their special sauce. You're welcome

It's a niche restaurant with a limited menu, but I was astonished how good the falafel was - very tender and meaty consistency. The toppings were also excellent on the wrap that I got. In the scheme of things, a little pricier and less filling of a meal than Pita Inn, but the staff put a lot of care in making a good product.

I ate here for lunch today and it was a fantastic experience. The employee making the food was incredibly enthusiastic and friendly, even going so far as to give us free falafel and baklava samples. He was very knowledgeable and helped us get exactly what we wanted. The food was prepared freshly, quickly, and accurately and tasted great! I got the half and half falafel hummus bowl and it was a great mix of flavors. Honestly, my expectations overall were not that high, seeing as how it's a reasonably cheap chain place, but don't let that fool you. I would put this falafel against most other falafels I have had at much better restaurants and the service was so far above and beyond what I have experienced elsewhere. I will definitely be coming back.

Have no idea how this has gotten 5-star reviews. The food for the higher price-point was substandard. I was expecting a step above Pita Inn from the reviews, and then would rate this several steps lower. Flavor meh, fries soggy, protein/chicken was a couple of finely chopped tablespoons, toppings looked tired...overall the wraps felt mushy/soggy. Won't ve back; not at all what I was expecting or worth the money.

Tried this place on 9/6/2020 for an early dinner. Such a small amount of food! Great ingredients and flavorful but was very much lacking in volume. We will remain at Naf Naf which also serves healthy portions and despite the a slightly lesser quality of food Naf Naf does work better for us. 393gm=13ozVery small portions of foodChicken portion is likely less than 3oz

Eek. I ordered online for curbside pickup and arrived 5 min before pickup. *you have to sign up for "chownow" to order online...not a fan.I pulled up and no one was in the restaurant except for the worker. Not sure if that's good or bad as chipotle next door was very busy. The man inside was making my order as I sat outside and watched. He had no mask on which I didn't like, especially right now. My personal opinion is that all food prep workers should always have masks on, regardless of a pandemic. I was willing to overlook it as I was always fine before the pandemic.Anyhow, he saw me and immediately put on a mask. I then noticed he did not have gloves on... nasty, but willing to overlook as I know that everything he was making for me required no touch. He placed an order on the counter and then helped someone that came in. He put on one glove when the customer entered, but never washed his hands first, as is required. Another man came in and ordered a wrap, which did require him to put on an additional glove...again, no hand washing prior, so the exterior of the glove was contaminated with germs. Now, I'm more skeptical as this tells me hygiene is likely not high in this establishment. My food never came out, so I went in and got the bag.I was willing to overlook what I saw, again, because my food should have all been prepared no-touch. I didn't end up eating my meal because unnoticed that my sauce container was inside the container which was holding my meal. Not sure why some restaurants do that, but it's completely unsanitary, especially when this man does not wash his hands nor does he wear gloves properly. The meats looked good, but the stuffed grape leaves did not. They had a very slimy coating on them which I have not experienced before. I didn't eat them, so I don't know the taste, but they looked odd. I am disappointed with this experience.

I did a take out today. Will never go back. Will not recommend this place to anyone. Fries were all stuck to each other and shawarma had literally three strips of chicken in the bowl. Chick peas salad had a slimy coating on it. Tomatoes and cucumber and lettuce seemed stale and browned. Extremely disappointed.

Very polite staff. But they make all the pita early in the morning and store them inside a bag to get all moist and chewy. They reheated the pita but, yo, a fresh pita would make this 5 stars.

Food was good not great. Counter service was excellent, and they didn't charge for things like a side of taziki. Had the Mediterranean chicken salad and dressed it up with extra Toppings like olives, cabbage slaw, pepperocinis, etc. The regular chicken for this salad is shawarma so we asked for kabob chicken instead, which they were happy to do. It was dark meat, so moist and flavorful. Only complaint was the pita bread. Was store bought and they pulled it out of a plastic bag, like they had just run out to buy it at Jewel. A hot, fresh pita would have been much better. The grape leaves were good. Overall, it's like high quality Mediterranean fast food, prepared Subway / Chipotle style. 4/5 stars.

We just visited IDOF for the first time. They had 4.5 stars with 45 reviews so we decided it was worth a try. It was very good! My wife had the all in platter and I had the felafelicious. Both were delicious and well worth their prices.
