Perry's Steakhouse & Grille - Vernon Hills

We went for our anniversary dinner. Perry's had rose petals at our table! Our waitress Paulina made our evening. She was very professional but also friendly and welcoming. The July special 4 for $44 was truly a hit. Each course was wonderful; standouts were the broiled seafood stuffed mushrooms and the vanilla cheesecake with orange sauce. Excellent take on the wedge salad. The Perry's pork chop is incredible.

The Surf & Turf was perfectly prepared and the Bananas Foster was outstanding. The service was excellent (as always). I highly recommend this restaurant.

Seated per reservation in outside seating. Restaurant was not very busy. Server first forgot our drink order. A couple seated a nearby table brought a dog which barked the entire time. Who brings a dog to a steakhouse? Service was incredibly slow with a routine meal for 2 people taking over 2 hours. Food was very mediocre and relatively expensive. The Sunday pork special they push was very fatty and bland tasting, and the fish was also very bland. Was up all night with stomach pain. Portions were smaller than expected and we left somewhat hungry, and we're not big people or big eaters. Second and likely last time I'll dine here as the first time was just average but this time was well below an average experience.

We celebrated my birthday last night at Perry's Steakhouse, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Our server, Steve?, was absolutely amazing—attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the evening. We both ordered the Sunday Night Pork Chop Dinner (because how can you not?), and it did not disappoint. Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The wedge salad was crisp and refreshing, and the mocktails were so good, we didn't even miss the real thing! We ended the night with the orange dream cheesecake, which was the perfect sweet finish to a perfect meal. The only downside was the demanding, rude couple seated behind us—but that had nothing to do with the restaurant. Everything else about our evening was top-notch. Highly recommend Perry's for a special night out!

My husband and I keep returning to Perry's for special occasions. The attentive service, beautiful atmosphere, and impeccable food always keep us coming back for more.

Our server misstated the dessert charges at the start of our dinner...the four people heard her say one thing and the bill reflected another thing! She fell back on restaurant ''policy'' to defend the error...not good business. I normally tip between 20-25%, but 15% this time. One last detail, our guest ordered 3 different appetizers. When the main course arrived, he asked when the appetizers were coming...the response ''Oh sorry, I missed it because I wrote it on the back of the pad, do you still want them?" We said no thank you.

Had a wonderfully cooked ribeye! Don't eat a lot of beef anymore so when I do it definitely needs to be good. Unfortunately that's not the case in so many "great steak" restaurants. But the ribeye at this restaurant was absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend. Kind of pricey but for special occasions it's right on the mark.

The food, service, and ambience was outstanding. Perfect place for special dinner. We will be back.

The food was delicious and the ambience lovely. However, we felt rushed to order our dinner right away. We probably told our waiter three times that we weren't ready, and it wasn't like we hung around all night. We were in the restaurant from start to finish for a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Our first time at this restaurant. Server was amazing, really cared for our table for my birthday. And food was excellent. It's just a very loud establishment, people are close together so it's kind of hard to hear the person next to you talking. But overall great experience.

Came with my college girlfriend for lunch! Options were great as usual, food amazing & the wait staff beyond words! Chris was wonderful!!! As well as Michael, Avi & Eli!! You all are the best at what you do!!

We had a beautiful lunch for six at Perry's in Vernon Hills. The food was excellent — the burger and New York steak were perfectly prepared, and the mac & cheese, chicken, Caesar salad, and soup were all flavorful and satisfying. Our server was phenomenal: warm, attentive, and highly professional. She took my son's seafood allergy seriously, asked all the right questions, and ensured his meal was completely safe. That level of care was deeply appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and we look forward to returning.

Everything was great!! Jackie was absolutely amazing! She was accommodating and sweet! Service and the food were excellent! Jackie really made our night! 10/10 for food! Thank you!!!

It was cold in the restaurant. Barry, the manager came up to our table to see how everything was. He talked with us and was very nice. Our server, Rudy was awesome! I requested a corner table and that was waiting for us when we got there. Food was top notch as always.

We had a wonderful meal at Perry steakhouse. The white staff and the manager were very attentive and extremely helpful when there was an a food issue. All was resolved easily and quickly. We will definitely be back.
