They put a huge amount of hot peppers in a child’s sandwich. Yes we asked for a few but for them to put this large an amount was truly truly terrible customer service.. severely regretted giving a large tip.. never going back to potbelly

Undeniably puts Subway to shame!! Excellent service, in person or through app, they follow orders exactly as given! From now on I am definitely ordering more from the Underground menu on the app because the Barnyard sandwich is phenomenal! And that’s just the first sandwich from the top of the menu too!

Food was fine, but wow this place turned into a dump. I was in around 11:30, well before the lunch rush. Dirty floors, supply boxes cluttering the seating area blocking two tables, ice tea machine empty with the lid off, lemonade empty, chip cubby largely empty.
I could excuse it if it was just after lunch rush, but this shows lack of prep the day before or morning of.
Many of these were noted on a previous review from a few months ago, but nothing seems to have changed.
Used to be good, I'm assuming ownership changed just like some of the other fast food locations in the area.
If I owned a restaurant, cleanliness would be priority number one.

I was here during late December, early January. I had my 4yr old son w me. It was very busy and seemed to be either a shift change or short staffed. I understand things happen.. and sometimes customers orders might come first. I understand being busy. I was just a bit scared at how dirty the bathrooms were. I am someone who sees that and questions what the back of the house looks like if the bathrooms look that way. And it wasn’t just unkept. How am I supposed to clean my hands before I eat in a bathroom that is that dirty?
Food? I mean, it’s all the same. It’s predictable. You know what you’re getting. The likelihood of you getting excited or impressed are slim to none. It’s what it is

This location for potbelly is always great. Dakota served me today, and he was extremely friendly and accommodating. The staff got me my sandwich extremely quick, which I appreciated. Also, it was a plus that it’s always great.

I just want to say that this place was a zoo at lunch time today . Maybe it was the Bogo sandwiches that brought the crazy crowds in literally standing room only a lot of angry people because he was taking so long but I really wanna give a shout out to the staff here today because they busted their asses and we’re very professional and hard-working despite the mean books they’re probably getting from all the customers. I have to say that probably served over 100 customers in less than an hour. Every single one of them was, I don’t think they get the praise that they deserve so if you are the manager of this location, just know that your staff was working extremely hard hard today .

I usually go to the Gurnee or Lake Bluff location and probably best if I keep doing so. Came in around 2pm and there was no line and 4 workers behind the counter area. Keep that in mind as you read the rest of this for a good laugh. I order 2 salads and a soup….5 minutes later there are 3 workers in back chatting while only 1 person is making a sandwich. A worker eventually asks me if I’m waiting on a turkey and I respectfully say no and that I’m waiting on salads and a soup. Meanwhile, the other workers are just standing and talking…I ask if they’ve even started my order, he says no and that he’s the only one working. 😂😂 I say all good and not to worry about the food. This location brings a whole new meaning to a care free dining experience.
Zero consistency, 1 tiny cold slice of meat?! This is a disgrace. What's with the infrastructure of these restaurants around here, is it the same cheap owner?! Bathroom door lock has been broken at this place for WEEKS another one around here has a broken front door. What's wrong with you guys? Lemonade & strawberry dragon fruit drinks are ALWAYS EMPTY HERE! FILL THEM UP WHEN THEY ARE EMPTY!

This used to be my absolute favorite sandwich place. When I was pregnant, I literally lived off their salads — I loved them that much! But lately, I’ve been really disappointed. The grapes in the salad have been consistently rotten, and the staff seems incredibly slow and inattentive. I still have a lot of love for this place, but I can’t help but wonder — is something going on recently?
