Roadtrip Bowls Made by Lazy Dog

Our server, Chris, was very helpful in suggesting meal options, and making sure we had everything we wanted. Our food was delivered quickly, and it was all delicious! We will definitely be back!

3 rd time ordering from here . Ordered via phone since we were driving . When we got there food should have been down from time quoted but we waited at least 15 more minutes . Arrived home with food and after ordering my burger rare with only bacon tomatoes and lettuce it had everything !! And you can’t get the taste of a pickle out of a bun … disgusting !!! To add to this disaster we called to complain and put on hold for OVER 10 min then hung up on !!! Way to go Lazy Dog such great service … NOT !!!

I enjoyed my drinks and food today and the customer service was great. This establishment is dog friendly which made it an easy experience. Thanks Guys .

I’ve dined at Lazy Dog before in Cupertino, CA and had great food and excellent service. When I found out they were located in the Illinois burbs I was excited to visit the Vernon Hills location. My server was not friendly. She ignored my table constantly and had to yell for help to get her attention. She had me waiting for 10 min just to pay my bill. I’m not sure what the issue was, it wasn’t busy. The lemon chicken was good, but one of the portions was bone dry. I saw her interact with other patrons and she took the time to connect with them. Maybe because I was alone at my table, it was awkward… im not sure. I’ll come back cause I know this is a popular place. I’m just so disappointed and I took the time before heading home to come to dine here. Maggianos down the street would have been much better service.

Great food and Awesome service . We had a party of 11. Our service was great and our server was awesome!!!

The food here is amazing. The customer service is exceptional. The libations are wonderful. You can’t go wrong with the lazy dog by the time you’re finished here you agree to be in tune with its namesake I give this place to thumbs up.

Really enjoy this restaurant, particularly their patio! I’ve actually never bothered dining inside. Love taking our dog out to dinner — it’s like her special occasion restaurant. Plenty of menu variety, even the pup meal includes a choice of chicken or burger, white or brown rice. My favorite dish is the Tex Mex salad. The outdoor atmosphere has great vibes… big fire pit in the middle, side ‘walls’ that roll down in the inclement weather, tvs showing the best sporting events.

Ylan was the best server I have had at any restaurant in a very long time. Good service keeps me coming back to a restaurant!! Good food, reasonable prices.

A disastrous dining experience My recent takeout experience at this restaurant was an absolute disaster. The abysmal service started right from the moment I arrived to pick up my order. They failed to provide utensils and napkins, leaving me to scramble for them myself. The chicken dishes I ordered were dry and overcooked, completely ruining the meal. To add insult to injury, the so-called curry chicken had no trace of curry whatsoever. The entire experience reeked of incompetence and indifference, from the lack of attention to basic customer needs to the complete disregard for culinary quality. I strongly caution against ordering from this establishment, as it will undoubtedly leave you disappointed and frustrated. Save yourself the trouble and look for a restaurant that actually values its customers and knows how to prepare a decent meal.

Great food. Great atmosphere and great service! Large and varied menu. We stopped for lunch and I was very impressed..I'll be back.

Stopped in for an early dinner. I had chicken pot pie, salad, and iced tea. It was all very good, but I was shocked to be charged over $4 for the iced tea - really?

Went to brunch for a daddy daughter date, and it exceeded expectations. Mostly due to our wonderful server Meghan, our order was perfect. Lumberjack tacos, donut holes, kids meal and a beer club membership, we had a great time. Can’t wait to bring the whole fam.

First time to visit this location in Vernon Hills. We arrived Saturday for a late lunch around 2:00. It was quite busy but we were seated immediately outside on the patio. We ordered the Cobb salads and the teriyaki bowl with chicken. Everything was very good, the service was great and all dogs on the patio were very well behaved! Will definitely return to Lazy Dog!

Really nice place for a meal. We enjoyed our night.
