I've been to many hibachi restaurants, but none like this one. The food was excellent, and the environment was both warm and exciting. Also, the waitress went out of her way to provide the most incredible service!

Nice Japanese restaurant. Large and airy as a sit down ought to be. They are more known for their sushi bar which I didn't do so can't comment on it other than it looked very large lots of selection and appeared to be fresh made (chefs working as you watch). I had the hibachi grilled chicken and veggies which came with a soup and salad. Added in some gyoza dumplings. All was tasty. The grilled food was not heavily seasoned but had good char. The dumplings were as if they came out of any freezer pack you can buy nothing special really. Soup was i think a simple miso based and tasty. Salad was a green iceberg with a very odd not familiar tasting dressing on it. Would recommend that you get dressing on side so you can determine amount to put on. A little on spendy side for what it was. Come early to beat the dinner rush. As I was leaving the place was really filling up.

Highly unprofessional, unfriendly and rude female manager. They upcharged us for the food and instead of apologies, refused to fix it. Only after we told them there would call cops, they removed the upcharge and told us to NOT to come back again! Definitely not! And, we will tell everyone we know about this rude place. Unbelievable. We were not coming to this place for many years after a food poisoning last time. We have decided to risk it. Definitely never again at this restaurant. There are many better sushi restaurants around.

Great place for lunch, if you are in Vernon Hills its a great place for a business lunch or a date. There is a full bar and also take out available.

I ordered a sushi salad. I always order sushi salad and in my opinion, it is a great salad. However, today, when i tried my salad, I thought it was too spicy.i told the waitress if I can get a new salad that isn't as spicy and she said she will be able to get me one but I will still need to pay for my previous salad, the one I didn't like. I think the restaurant at this scale should handle the situation and not make me pay for both salads. Service is not too great here.

Samina was absolutely amazing. She was the server for us and she took care of us beyond amazing. She explained everything very well because it was our first time. And she was super helpful as well. We had only sushi. And it was melting in my mouth. Quality of the food is amazing.
