Taco Tuesday is back, service was prompt and very pleasant. Best deal there is, any leftover you could bring home and they'll throw in a bag of chips too.

Oh my gosh! Where do I begin!!! The service is awful and we waited such a long time for our food. Had to get up and ask for a refill on our drink. The table next to us also complained about where their food was. The place was empty and we waited so long!! We saw our server twice. Manager walked by our table and saw we had empty glasses and didn't say anything. This place needs a whole new management team. And my steak was super salty on top of it! And I love salt on my food but that was unbearable.

I travel to the Chicagoland area on occasion because my corporate headquarters are here. Every time I'm here I have to go to this Uncle Julio's at least one time. The service is awesome and the food is second to none. I dine in and order for pick up. Both experiences have been awesome. When I can, I do prefer to dine in. The atmosphere and decor is awesome! I love how everything is made from scratch. The first time I went there last year our server did a great job explaining the favorites and how everything works. I'll be back in the area again in 5 weeks and I plan on taking an entire group there. Fajitas are on par and the carnitas tacos, amazing! You can't go wrong here.

We went for dinner tonight. Sat at the bar since it was quiet. Took over 20 minutes to get our soup. Soup came out and was cold so we sent back. I wouldn't have been upset about cold soup alone but it was the extensive wait for the soup then extensive wait for our food. Service was slow. Tables were dirty all around us. My husband asked for another shot and then our bartender disappeared the rest of the shift and we had to ask the other bar tender. The manager walking around looked oblivious to what was going on. Two gentleman sat next to us and waited 20 minutes just to get greeted. Just a bizarre experience tonight.

Had dinner this past Sunday around 4:00pm. The atmosphere was pleasant, clean and not crowded. Parking is limited & mall lot is used for overflow. I had the shrimp/crab enchiladas which were very tasty. It doesn’t come with beans/rice like other Mexican restaurants. Chips were fresh and good. 3 of us ordered margaritas 2 mango and 1 original. They were average to say the least and they put them in beer mugs not margarita glasses.

Nice looking place and the service was good. The food was absolutely disgusting though. No joke, you’re better off eating at Taco Bell. It’s cheaper and will taste like Gordon Ramsay cooked it compared to the food at Uncle Julio’s.

Baja Fish tacos trash. So much batter could hardly find the fish. Please rethink that batter and maybe do the baja tacos without it.Very disappointed. Food usually good. Decided to try something different. I will stick to what I know next time.

The beans were ruined. So over spiced and tasted like the whole container of chili powder was dumped on them. 4 out of 4 people at the table said they were horrible. Fresh guacamole prepared at the table by a manager was just okay. The fish tacos were bland, no real flavor. We really wanted to love this place, but we were disappointed. Our server was top notch and knowledgeable.
