I did order and extra pita (the dinner comes with 1) and I'm glad I did, because there was just way too much meat for 1 pita! Overall, it was great! The atmosphere is warm, but quiet. Perfect for a good family catchup. The food is comforting without being too heavy and the wine, beer and cocktail selection is the perfect pairing. We've had the pleasure of being served by Anna a few times now and she does a great job. She is attentive and watchful, without being overbearing which is a difficult skill to master for a lot of servers. Aside from that, I love that it is a safe place for folks with food allergies and I feel very well taken care of in respect to that issue. I can tell that everyone from the hosts to the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff are very well trained in creating a safe and welcoming experience for each guest. Glen Prairie is quickly becoming one of our go to family favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back!“

I recently hosted a dinner for a baby shower for my daughter in their side room. Had 14 people with a catered menu of chicken limone, beef tenderloin, gnocchi, salad, roasted potatoes, and grilled vegetables for a very reasonable price. My husband is very particular when it comes to Asian food since he is Asian himself and has his spots in the city we visit. We ordered a few things to share and try. The portions are very generous and we ordered too much as usual but we wanted to try several things. We had the shrimp soup in coconut milk and veggies ( I can't remember the name). Very good. I would come back for that. Also we had the Papaya salad. To me, this was the only thing I probably wouldn't order again. It wasn't bad, but I prefer my husbands which is hotter and a few more things in it. Then we ordered a chicken skewer with a peanut curry sauce. This was great. Very tender and the sauce omg . I asked the server if he could bring a tiny little bowl with some pho broth to taste it. My husband is a pain in the butt about his pho in the suburbs. He approved of it. That's a complement to them then haha. I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp Thai spice level. And omg yesss! So good. I can't wait to take my older son here, he will love it. My husband got the glass noodles with crispy duck. It was so darn good and the duck was perfect. Soft, crispy but not oily. We also had Thai tea. Very good. “Thank you Molos for a wonderful evening. We hosted a small birthday celebration with 20 people. The room was cozy and private and since we had dined before we knew the food would be awesome. We did appetizers of course. The Baked Feta was a huge hit as well as the Saganaki of course. We ordered Greek Salad for each table and our guests ordered off the menu. I’m sure it was a challenge for the kitchen but they handled it very well and everyone enjoyed their meal. We had one server, who’s name I did not get, (may fault). She was awesome! In the end the entire night could not have gone better and even with drinks, wine, and desserts, ordered as our guests desired, the price was very reasonable. We all highly recommend Molos!!“

“Greetings my Foodzies, tonight we decided to try a restaurant that we have passed by numerous times. The great escape on Irving at 9540 w Irving Park rd. in Schiller Park.
This is a unique restaurant that has been around for years. The property has a rich history (see the picture I have posted with the story).
The restaurant’s bar area is very rustic with a bar that was hand carved in 1889, very impressive. TVs have been added to draw in a people who want to eat and have a drink while watching TV. Also a gaming section in the bar area.
Music is old school 50-60s, our server Mareen was pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable.
We started with Grilled Calamari it was grilled nicely but could have used a few more seconds to get a little more char flavor. It was also missing the signature balsamic. Glenda chose the Rigatoni in Vodka sauce with chicken; the chicken was scarce and the sauce was not the traditional sauce it had an odd flavor, not terrible but not what we expected. With a cup of lentil soup, tasty but needed a little extra salt. I chose the baby back ribs and broasted chicken (these dishes they are known for) the chicken was very good, crispy skin and very juicy. The ribs were tender but a little dry. The BBQ sauce was the recipe is the recipe of the owner’s grandfather. It was a Kansas City type sweet sauce with a nice smoky flavor (as a first time patron we were given a bottle to take home). I had the baked French onion soup topped with mozzarella, I’m used to Gruyere, Swiss, or Gouda but ut was very good.

“We had dinner there last night to celebrate a special occasion. So much on the menu to choose from, and everything was excellent! Calamari is hard to do right, but they did it right. Fried zucchini. pork chops, meat balls, dolmades, spinach pie, and more.... Will definitely be back!“

All at very reasonable prices considering it's in an airport. 2 of the veggie burritos (one had guac, which was an extra $2.59) came to just under $30. They have a seperate Vegan menu that's clearly labeled, with 3 different options. The veggies were fresh- squash, kale, spinach.
