Not a good experience for me, the lobster stuffed shrimp I had were mediocre and not very tasty, the counter ordering is not convenient, no wait staff... Very disappointed, I was expecting a better quality and taste for the price.

My wedding anniversary. Chose this carryout instead of going to a restaurant. Ordered two dozen oysters. They were fabulous. Also, ordered two half pound baked lobster tails. Seemed smaller than 8 ounces and really overcooked, rubbery, with no flavor. Total cost $130.00. Restaurant next year.

Servers and vibe were great! They welcomed us when we came in, made great eye contact and made me feel like I was their guest! Reason I gave 4 stars and not 5, the apple cobbler just tasted a little off. Other than the cobbler though their brisket was pretty good!

Been here a couple of times now and everything is great! Service is friendly and quick and the food is amazing! I had the alligator and it's prepared exactly right. And the desserts are worth every penny and calorie!!

Great spot for bbq and seafood! My family came in for their frog legs and ribs, but we have some food allergies. Deno did a great job of answering all of our concerns. Would highly recommend this place! Plus, they carry a variety of locally made soda (Glen Rock Pop) from Antioch, IL.

Everything was delicious from the BBQ to the seafood. The service was perfection and they also have a large selection of craft beers. The menu is huge, can't wait to come back and try more items. Very reasonably priced as well.

Captain Pork’s is a local restaurant that is in my area, which I use to proudly support. They still have one of the best brisket that I have had and I'm not a big brisket eater. The reason I rate this lower is because they use to be better. I recently bought a pound of catfish (basically nuggets), a large rib tip, and a small baked bean (delicious) that came to $44.00 - $44.00; No sides with the catfish or rib tips. I was skeptical when I saw them sitting in the case, and my suspicion was later confirmed that the rib tips were dry and appeared to had been there for a while. After spending $44.00 in inflationary times, this is disappointing when trying to support local business. There are other options in the area that are cheaper and some might find better tasting. Heck - you get more for the same amount of catfish from Cracker Barrel with three sides! I’ll come back if this improves or my wife just has to have it.

A neat bbq restaurant in Waukegan.
I ordered the ribs and pulled pork. My fiance ordered the salmon. The pulled pork was tasty however the ribs were dry and tasted like they were sitting for a long time. My fiance told me the salmon tasted fishy and wasn't good.

Have known the store owner since He started in a small shop in Zion until now. Dino holds a high standard, tastes the same since 1990's. Simply the best.
Thanks Dino!😋🤗

The brisket was horribly bland and dry. The ribs were also really dry but at least had some smoke flavor unlike the brisket. The chicken was decent. Oddly enough it was by far the most moist. Way too expensive for horrible dry BBQ wouldn't recommend.

This is a really nice place for a clean, hot, quality meal at a very modest price. Every time I come down to this area I enjoy stopping by for a meal here. Thank you so much. Sincerely, Matt

Counter service, deli-style. No servers, pay as you order, not run a tab and pay when you're finished. All of our food was overcooked, over fried. We had smelt, crawfish tails, po' boy and coconut shrimp. (So over cooked the coconut didn't exist) All the tvs were turned to controversial news outlets/programming. It was ok, not great. Definitely not itching to return sadly.
