Homemade sausage, fresh artisan bread, incredible coffee....literally never disappoints! BEST breakfast I have had.
We had reservations for 6:30pm on a Thursday night. At the time of reservation we requested a quiet table because we had my 78yr old father who has hearing aids and loud noise makes it difficult for him. When we entered the restaurant there was a band right to the side of the door. The hostess brought us to a table at the far back of the restaurant but it didn't matter where you were seated; it was loud. Based on the reviews, Wadsworth Inn Restaurant, Bar, & Private Events is an outstanding place for great American comfort food. The food is absolutely gorgeous and every dish is packed with flavor. Specific meals mentioned include the French onion soup, braised beef, Greek Yogurt with orange fig jam, Heirloom Tomato Feta Egg Wrap, walleye, salmon, chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, and avocado shrimp toast. The Farm to Table is delightful. Portion sizes are generous and the prices feel very fair for the quality of the meal. The staff are friendly, attentive, and exceptional. Everyone who works there cares very much. The atmosphere is relaxing, with beautiful wood work. This is THE place to go for breakfast in Lake County and a favorite place to celebrate birthdays.
