This place is awesome I've been going there for 30 years ever since they've been in the beach park Zion area and now Wadsworth ,I now drive 70 miles from Rockford to Captain Porky's for rib tips because Rockford has nothing to offer like Porky's. The sauces is boss I even use hot BBQ sauce on the shrimp.
Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants of all time. My family and I have been going Captain Porky’s for at least 10 years now and we tell everyone we know about it.
Before I mention the food, the people there are amazing from the owners to the staff. Notah is awesome and always remembers us! Whenever they interact with any anyone else, they’re always super kind and very friendly lots of longtime customers come in have chats with them.

- The food was good, But the shrimp had a little taste of chlorine. They need to switch to a better quality shrimp provider.
Rib tips were good but too greasy.
Bread pudding was excellent.
Prices were excellent.
Variety on the menu was excellent.
You can eat inside or take to go as most people do.
