“Tonight was my boyfriend's and my usual date night out of town, with a movie & food, but tonight we caught a late movie. We were worried we would find nothing but your typical McDonald's & the such, but stumbled upon Baba's and I'm glad we did. The woman running the counter was very nice, and made some recommendations to me when I wasn't sure what to order. I ended up getting the large catfish filets (by her recommendation) and they were delicious! They had a light crisp batter, and were very moist on the inside. “Our order was a side of Mac and cheese, wings 12 pcs hot/spicy smoke BBQ, combo of 6pcs wings, drink and fries, combo1 which was a chicken sandwich fries and drink all totaling $56.67. Price was okay for the food but upon receiving Mac and cheese was 1/2 cup of cheese with noodles for $4. Drinks were all equivalent to a small coke at McDonald’s. Chicken was good, fries a bit dry but I do understand that’s it’s a dry rub? If ordering for kids they should state that wings seasoning is a bit spicy none of my kids could eat their wings. They did not include silverware or napkins which was odd. They did though give us 2 sides of their signature sauce.“

“Quick review: The portion is slightly larger than the lechon here in California. The price is reasonable. Great taste and seasoning especially the lemon grass used for flavoring. I guess the only downside to my review is my location. My buddy had to bring this to me to the west coast all the way from the midwest. “The flat pizza at Home Run Inn is so much better. We decided to try the deep dish pizza because it was new here. The sauce is just chunky tomato sauce that tastes like it came straight out of a can. “I've seen this place for years, and never seen them busy. When I came in I had to wait to get service as there was only one person working (Saturday evening.) But I was not in any hurry, as I was looking for some good barbeque at a reasonable price. I was NOT disappointed!! The flavor was awesome, the ribs were fantastic, I even enjoyed the fries and the baked beans!
It is an older building and not extremely easy to find. They don't have the staff to serve lots of people, but the food is definitely worth eating if you love Barbeque!!
