This is the cutest place! The food is farm to table delicious. The servers are on top of their game, and the pricing is on point. Such a gem in a beautiful town. Hats off to the owners and staff!
Ordered a spiced bown sugar latte and hot cocoa. The flavors of both were OK.
The store is adorable! Broghr, clean and cheery!
Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite and 1 small town at a time. Explore everything.
It's a cute little restaurant đ, the prices aren't too high. There isn't very much seating tho. The food was tasty đ
Each detail is so planned and intentional. Itâs absolutely gorgeous with great customer service and delicious food. Perfect place for a date, brunch with the girls, or even a quiet morning alone đ©·
My fiancé and I went for breakfast and I had the French Toast with Scrambled Eggs, Bacon and Hot black Coffee and she had Waffles and Biscuits & Gravy with a iced Vanilla latte and it was all ABSOLUTELY delicious and well worth the wait.
A much-needed girls day! đ So thankful we got to be at The Coffee Girl for Alexandra Kayâs grand opening of her new coffee shop â and it was just as fabulous as youâd expect. đ Loved everything from the food to the decor to the amazing staff!! Fun, feminine, and flirty in all the best ways. đâš
It has come to my attention, and more so to my grateful senses, that within the industrious and hospitable town of Waterloo, Illinois, there stands a humble yet extraordinary establishmentâthe Coffee Girl Coffee House. Permit me a few words to express, with the full sincerity of my heart, the admiration I hold for this beacon of warmth, community, and rejuvenation.
Upon my entrance, I was greeted not as a stranger nor mere passerby, but as one long expected. Such cheer, extended without pretense, is the mark of true hospitality. The aroma within that houseârich and honestâdid more to revive my weary spirit than even the promise of spring after a long Illinois winter.
The brew, I must say, is not simply coffee. Nay, it is a draught of democratic elixirâbold, balanced, and imbued with the strength of the prairie soil and the character of those who labor with care. Whether one prefers their cup adorned with sweetness and cream or as plain as a Quaker sermon, they shall find satisfaction here.
The proprietressâwhom I take to be the Coffee Girl herselfâis a person of enterprise, integrity, and warmth. She hath created a gathering place where neighbors may convene, ideas may be exchanged, and the burdens of the day may be lessened by good company and better coffee.
In these times, when division and haste often overtake our better natures, it is no small thing to find a place where fellowship is brewed daily and served without prejudice. The Coffee Girl Coffee House is such a place, and I commend it heartily to all who pass through Waterloo or dwell nearby.
If I may paraphrase a notion oft quoted: the best way to predict your morningâs happiness is to begin it with a cup from Coffee Girl.
If you donât have time to eat; at least stop and grab some amazing fair trade organic coffee! I have eaten at the Bean Tree Cafe and love the food, but during my latest visit to Waterloo I didnât have a lot of time. But I was happy to grab some coffee. The coffee is whole bean, so if you only use ground coffee like myself, they will grind it there for you. Super friendly staff. Great coffee choices. A small business I am thrilled to support.

Got the French toast with strawberries and whipped cream added on with a side of hashbrowns(take out, hence why you can see my mess of a side table in the picture lol). They were super nice and accommodating about our orders. Only thing I can say is I wish the bathrooms there were wider. I'm on the wide end of body types and I looked like one of those people doing the pretzel in a circus just trying to move around đ
Vegetarian options: They have a veggie omelette! That's all I know though.
Wheelchair accessibility: There's only stairs to get in (as far as I know), and the bathrooms there are too thin to probably fit a wheelchair either.

Edit: after a few visits of ordering the same item, I've realized they are very inconsistent and that's very important

Great Coffee and breakfast items. The place is small and the wait is well worth it. We stopped by while visiting my parents in Waterloo and will be back when we are up in the area again.
