Food was good. Great atmosphere. It was busy but service was good. Don't know if it was standard practice but they didn't bring plates with the pizza. Had to eat out of paper boats. Good place to watch game or bands.

This is THE go to place in Waterloo! The variety of beer is excellent! I’ve tried most and every single one is delicious. The staff is very attentive and nice. The pizza is fire wood and quite a variety or flavors you wouldn’t expect but all are very good in their own way. The atmosphere is amazing! You will LOVE this place! Only 30 minutes from St. Louis but so worth the drive.

Great craft beer selection. had the wood fired pizza which was delicious! Beautiful building with a great ambiance. Our bartender Evan provided great service and made a couple of superb speciality cocktails for us!

This is my most FAVORITE brewery that I’ve ever been to, and that’s saying a lot! I married a craft beer fanatic a couple years ago and he’s taught me well. Seriously, not only are Hopskeller brews outstanding, the atmosphere is terrific (a very old factory/warehouse space) and the food is great, too. I’ve never been anywhere before where all five beers in my flight were wonderful. They just hit every one of my malt-loving taste buds, kapow!! I’m sure if you’re a hop-head their IPA offerings are excellent, too. I just wish this place wasn’t an hour away from where I live… and I wish even more that they bottled or canned (they’re happy to fill growlers, though). All in all, Hopskeller has it going on and I cannot recommend it enough. I’d give it more stars if I could!

I have been to many breweries across the US with my craft beer-fanatic husband, and Hopskeller is my FAVORITE. Yes, it’s that good! The beers are outstanding - I loved everything in my entire flight, which never happens! Whether you’re a malt person like me or a hop-head, you’re sure to find beer you’ll enjoy. (They also serve cocktails that looked amazing) Plus, the atmosphere is cozy and fun (lots of old wood in an old factory building) and the food is wonderful. Pizza, appetizers, everything was excellent. I can’t wait to go back and wish it wasn’t an hour away! No bottles or cans but they’ll fill a growler for you, so bring one along because you’ll want more of their fantastic beer.

I had a very hard time explaining what I wanted on the pizza. It is self-serve, basically. Our pizza came and I took a bite, and the dough wasn't cooked. My husband took it back and they were surly about doing anything. We waited and waited. Our daughter's pizza hadn't come at all. Finally, hers came. Eventually, they brought ours. It was the same pizza with a bite taken out and the crust totally burned on the edges. How can a restaurant put partially eaten food in an oven??? There was an extra charge for toppings which is fine, BUT I counted 4 mushrooms and 2 small pieces of bacon. I have never had a pizza with so little on top of the crust. There was no thank you for coming in or asking if there were problems. There was no apology for the fact it wasn't cooked and the other hadn't arrived. They were not busy and there was plenty of help. Something should be done about the lack of sanitary care. I don't know where management was, but they should have been there.

We came for our first time yesterday to kill time between wedding events and we will most definitely be back! The food and mixed drinks were unique and amazing! Theres so many great options it was hard to decide what to try. Great quality and the staff was so nice. I love the outdoor area and there was live music near by. Such a perfect way to spend the day!
Nice local brewpub with great beer, cocktails, and an inviting atmosphere. Downtown Waterloo is excellent too!

A great spot to grab a pint with friends! The food here is TOP notch!! The garlic bites? To die for. Pizzas? I am a paradise city guy BUT they have something for everyone. Do yourself a favor a come grab some drinks and food. You won't be disappointed!
