Good selection of Mexican food, products, produce, and snacks! While we didn't buy from there, we bought from the restaurant attached to the supermarket. There's also a currency exchange counter, which has Vigo by Western Union. This supermarket is also a safe space for immigrants and other vulnerable people. There's a meat, deli, and seafood counter. The supermarket has a good selection of hot sauce and spices. There's also home cleaning produce. The produce section has what you expect. Fruits, vegetables and some Mexican ones like Aloe Vera. You can find specialty snacks and drinks like Mexican soda and chips. There's also some plates, bowls, and ceramic products. But one of the freezer doors has glass cracked. Did not break but that was concerning. In the restaurant attached, we ordered 2 shrimp tacos and tortas. But a small complaint, the tacos were quite small for 5 dollars each. They come with lime, and red and green hot sauce. But they are still delicious! So, if you're looking for a local Mexican supermarket with standard products, Mexican specialties, a welcoming place, currency services, a meat counter, and delicious Mexican food, this grocery store is for you!
Good food
If you are looking for a Mexican grocery/deli/meat counter, this is it. I'm from central NY and we don't have any thing like this. Better tortillas than I can get, dried Chiles, spices used in Mexican cooking, spiced meats for sale at the meat counter, 6 or 7 Mexican beers and a couple of Nicaraguan beers. I loved it
Best lamb bbq in lake county! Real mexican food. Lots of mexican groceries
Good food and friendly folks
My family has been coming here for YEARS. Sunday, before this Memorial Day, we went in and more than half of the coolers were out in the back left corner. All of the crema was expired. The *only* person working the meat counter was passing HER OWN phone across to us to translate our fresh order of carnitas and arrachera. After that, the meat counter stacked up to more than 10 people, who waited probably 10-15 minutes, perceivably on us, because it took the woman so long to communicate and cut the meat. I went to the restaurant next door to ask for fresh pico de gallo. He told me his English was not so good, LOL, dead serious. Then walked to the front to someone who he said spoke better English. They were out of fresh pico up front too since their coolers were down. Then he made me go ask her myself because he said they were out and I asked how come I can’t just pay on the restaurant side and they make it? No one was even sitting in the restaurant. We spent over $100 still, and were there almost an hour, and the cashier who apparently could speak English was clocking out leaving when we left…. At 4pm. I don’t get it.
Great tacos at great price!
I guess Mexican food is a little different where I lived for 42 years on the West Coast
No access for patrons to use the bathroom after buying food at the restaurant. How is that legal? Fix your access to the bathroom for patrons. Told to leave after voicing concern as a paying customer.
Some of the best tacos in the area! Very affordable as well!
