We had a great experience at Docks Bar & Grill. The service was excellent, the food was good, and everything came out fast. We also really enjoyed the conversations with the bartenders — friendly, welcoming, and genuinely engaging.
I mentioned that I appreciated the TVs being on the same channel, because when multiple screens are on different channels, the flickering lights can be overwhelming for me. I’m disabled and live with Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD) and CPTSD, along with chronic migraines. The sunglasses I wear help reduce light sensitivity from LEDs and neon lighting, and the staff was kind, open, and understanding when I explained this.
It meant a lot to be treated with respect and curiosity rather than judgment. The bartender was friendly, approachable, and handled the conversation with warmth and professionalism.
Great atmosphere, great people, and a place that makes you feel welcome. We’ll definitely be back.

My husband and I went in there for a quick bite at lunchtime and had the best experience. Our server was excellent and the burger my husband ordered was fantastic. He's pretty picky about his burgers 😁. I ordered a pepper and egg sandwich which was good and the fries were tasty, as well. I love that it has a nice view of the lake with deck and I know that this place is going to be fun during the summer months. Thank you!

We drove up there from Naperville the restaurant is located right on bangs lake the food was out of this world amazing.. we had and recommend the Ruben rolls the wings flaming cheese and we split a burger. The food was so good we are driving back this weekend for more.
