This cafe has a very pleasant atmosphere with friendly, uplifting staff. The coffee and specialty choices are on par with the franchise cafés. However, I believe that the brew and the specialty flavors are better and have a unique taste. I typically regularly get the amaretto or Irish cream flavoring. I have found that the mocha I get on occasion has a more pleasant flavor than those offered by Panera, SB, or DD.They have a regular crowd and customer base whom I've found pleasurable to interact with when stopping in, though I am not a daily regular. They take time to eventually learn your name when seeing you a few times. It's always inviting at Honey Hill.

Cute little coffee shop!Only complaint I have is if you’re trying to have a meeting here, find some place else because the back room gets VERY loud and you’ll be yelling at each other to speak to whoever you’re there with. However, that’s a personal preference thing so still 5 stars because the vibes are happy and the coffee and food is quaint for a small coffee shop in downtown Wauconda area.

First visit and I'll be back. There is a veterans coffee group on Monday afternoons in a very comfortable room. The coffee is great and the people are friendly and welcoming. Parking is not an issue and the area is safe.
Cute local coffee shop located downtown. Ample street parking. They have a great selection of coffee, espresso and tea drinks as well as food - including gluten free! The staff is super friendly and helpful in picking out the perfect drink if you want to try something new. I gave the pistachio latte a try (recommended) and it was surprisingly good! I didn't stay long, but it looked like there was lots of intimate seating in the back.

I used to work there, while walking past with my puppy, I saw one of my old customers, so of course I stopped to say hello. Arielle (the "owner" ) came out and verbally accosted me. I haven't seen her in 5 years. I was completely dumbfounded. Frankly I will give my money to Starbucks.
