We stopped in for the first time today. What a nice place. It's clean, and fresh. The staff was friendly, even saw a couple of our favorite servers from another breakfast place. We both had skillets, and they were so good. They definitely don't skimp on the meat, and the sourdough bread was from a bakery. Stop in for a hardy, and delicious breakfast.

Our long history with this location is over. We will not be returning. Their pricing and policies are egregious.
They charged us $3.49 FOR AN EXTRA PLATE. I want to be clear that this was not a split-plate. That's to say, we did not get extra food and/or ask the kitchen to split the meal. We got charged to use a plate so my wife could have some of my skillet. The hostess/cashier tried to tell me that's normal at a lot of restaurants and she used Cheesecake Factory as an example. I explained that is typically for a split-plate where you get a full portion of the side and the kitchen has to do the extra work that can be the case but never just for an empty plate. She was adamant about that but that has never been the case anywhere I've dined (which is A LOT of places as you can tell by my review history and my Google Guide level). For my own sanity, I called Cheesecake Factory and the manager confirmed they would never charge for someone to use a plate. My wife spoke to the manager (owner) at Honeybella and he said it's because they have to wash the plate and wouldn't budge on the situation. My wife said we are not coming back and he couldn't have cared less.
What other reviewers have said about charging 3% on credit cards and not advertising or informing people is true. Charging for using credit cards is pretty common place now (unlike charging to use a plate) but respectable establishments advertise and/or notify people first.
Given today's experience combined with the high prices for the size of portions and mediocre food, we will be choosing the other places in and next to town for breakfast and will not be returning here.

Greeted promptly at the door and was seated. I only waited a few minutes b4 the server was there to take my order. Food was out quickly and warm. Unfortunately, the ingredients used must be of less than basic quality. The only thing that actually had true taste was the avocado. Lack of seasoning and flavor in the rest of the food. I've had better members mark breakfast sausage. The potatoes seemed to be old. Food.... if I could, half star all day.

Eggs came out ice cold. This was t the first time that the food was cold. Another time the breakfast meats (as this was a combo of 3 meats). was ice cold. If you want your food to be hot then DONT go here!

Restaurantji Recommends
Open for breakfast and lunch. Ample parking, extensive menu and generous portions. Attentive, fast, friendly wait staff. We were a group of 8 for breakfast, and they accommodated individual checks. I had the eggs Benedict - took a bit longer as server told me they re-cooked the eggs a couple of times because the yolks kept breaking. They took the time and effort to get it right (and the result was good)!

We came in for breakfast on Sunday, and the food was incredible! I got the grilled chicken skillet, and my husband got a waffle, and they tasted incredible! The service was also amazing. Our server came and checked on us at least 5 times to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying our food. It was our first time there, and we already cannot wait to come back!
