Lindys is one of our favorite restaurants. We love the food, the ambiance and of course the wait staff. Its nice to feel welcomed as if we were all friends.Jenna is so bubbly, kind and extremely helpful. We love seeing her. Chris is so sweet and friendly each and every time we come in. Her kindness, attentiveness,helpfulness is most appreciated. She truly makes our dining experience very special ❤️ We really enjoy coming to Lindys and try to get there at least weekly.

Poor waitress was overwhelmed and it was understaffed. Kitchen put out great tasty selections to our order! But we were left trying to get her attention and left to wait for everything.

Haven't been to Lindy's in well over a year. Now I know why. The inside has changed dramatically. We were a party of 7. The table we were at was just a round folding leg table. The chairs were uncomfortable. Our server was fine. Service was quick but not surprising since restaurant was fairly empty. Food was mediocre at best. This place was once a good place to go, but for some reason is just not what it used to be. It could be special.....

We had 5:30 reservations. There were only 3 tables besides ours. The first thing the server told us was that they were out of 5 things........on a Friday night? Our blackened salmon came out with NO seasoning. The server had no explanation and brought us salt and pepper. She offered us a dessert menu but they were out of all but 3 options. Very disappointing

We love eating at Lindy's in the summer on the beach but this review is specifically for the Santa Brunch! They did SUCH a wonderful job, there was food for every eater, and the staff was so accommodating and sweet to my very very excited 8 year old :) the people that work here really make Lindy's special.

We had a wonderful dinner in a beautiful holiday setting at Lindy's ... and also celebrated 3 birthdays among our party of 6. Our server Chris was great and took care of or table perfectly!

I’m writing to let you know that my friends and I will never return to your restaurant after how poorly we were treated — not once, but twice.
We’ve met at Lindy’s many times since it’s a central location for us, but the last two times we were rushed, told we had to leave, and basically kicked out because of your so-called 90-minute table limit. Both times, there were plenty of empty tables, so using “reservations” as an excuse was nonsense.
I don’t care what your policy says — it’s a ridiculous rule that completely kills the dining experience. I’ve eaten at restaurants all over, and I’ve never been told I had to leave after spending good money on food and alcohol. Treating paying customers this way is extremely rude and unprofessional.
We’ve already told our friends and family about what happened, and they’ve canceled their upcoming reservations. I will also be writing a public review to make sure others know how your staff treats loyal customers. Honestly, after the way we were treated, I feel like asking for a refund.
What a disappointing way to run a business.

We just had an event at Lindy's Landing in Wauconda and it was absolutely perfect in every way. The room was set up beautifully, the food was delicious and the staff was so wonderful, helpful and so easy to work with. Joyce, Michelle and Julia were amazing, so kind and just really made sure our day was perfect for us! I cannot wait for our next event I have already scheduled for June.

We have gone to Lindy ‘s Landing in the past for lunch and have enjoyed our meal. This was the first time going there with friends for dinner. Several of us ordered ribs and were notified upon ordering that the ribs sold out. My husband ordered a filet and his entree was quite a bit smaller than another guest at our table and he said it was not tender. I ordered chicken Parmesan and it was ok. It could have used more sauce. Our waitress was good. She was friendly and attentive.
