Went here for the first time recently and thought it was really cool. Only 8 lanes and it has a classic ball return where it just rolls down the lane on the rails. Owner was very nice and the bar was well kept and clean. Also has slot machines if you’re into that. Lanes were oiled properly. Would come back!

Wauconda Bowl is a great small bowling alley(8 lanes). The lanes are up to date with an above ground ball return. It has gaming machines and a well stocked bar. I was there for the humdinger tournament which is a good time. Thanks Wauconda Bowl for hosting

Stopped in here on a Saturday around 12, only one lane was being used so plenty of space. We were told 1 hour of lanes is $30 or 5.95 per person per game, having 5 people in our party we decided for the one hour of lanes. The lane got jammed 3 times and had to be manually reset, we ended up bowling for one hour and 6 minutes, they charged us $60.50 for the lane. Seemed a little extreme considering their lane got jammed adding up the extra time, and we only bowled one game. Any other bowling alley would have seen we only bowled one game each and charged us the game rate, Or only the $30 one hour lane charge since they got jammed a few times adding up the extra minutes. Also, the $14 “pizzas” are pulled straight out of the freezer. Total for a family of 5 for one hour and 6 minutes of bowling, 2 small pizzas was $92. Won’t be going back

I shouldve taken pictures but was in awe of the size and how vintage it was. If in the area, check out Wauconda bowl!!! Awesome staff, great lanes with above ground ball return!!! Smaller place but very modern!!!
Loved the atmosphere & the playlist was great as well. It turns I actually really like bowling! We were also pleasantly surprised to see the wonderful patio that served as a smoking lounge.
