Big Ed's BBQ & Bar Reviews
First time and definitely NOT our last. The spot was hopping and we could see why! The staff was warm and welcoming and gave us great recommendations. I think I left my fork spinning on the plate. Best BBQ I have had in ages! And meeting Big Ed was the topper! Came out making sure everyone was enjoying. THAT is top class and for sure demonstrates how the Chef stands behind his food, brand and name. 11/10 on everything! Thank you!!!
Treat your staff better. Under paying over working geting involved in a personal level to take advantage of. Truly unprofessional with a decently good recipe. Be better bosses and stop running a high school full of drama discriminating management !! Be better since you guys preach that you’re up there ! Go to Hillary’s sauce fresh
Party of 10 drove 3 hours up and 3 hours back just to try Big Ed’s BBQ. It was worth it! All of the food was delicious and the staff was delightful!

Big Ed's BBQ & Bar is a well-known restaurant that has been serving quality BBQ for a long time. The food is tasty, with the ribs being especially popular—they come with a homemade rub and a slight glaze, making them simple yet excellent. The restaurant offers a variety of BBQ sauces for customers to try, giving them the chance to enjoy different flavors. The baked beans and pulled pork are also highly praised, along with the brisket and hot links, which are large and flavorful. Customers have enjoyed the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, finding them some of the best outside of their own homes. The new location is a bit confusing to enter, laid out more like a conference center, which can make it feel less cozy. The dining area features a massive cathedral ceiling, removing the hometown BBQ vibe, and the atmosphere is more formal with staff that seem to do their job without much cheer. Despite these changes, the food remains delicious, especially the brisket. Takeout is popular and still offers great quality, though the high prices and atmosphere might make some hesitant to return often. Overall, Big Ed's BBQ & Bar is still a good spot for authentic and tasty BBQ, especially for those who enjoy a variety of meat choices and sauces.
