Based on the reviews, Booner’s Place is a local bar in Waukegan that is better than it looks when entering. It has a pretty chill feeling, is divey but cleaner inside, and is bigger than it appears from the outside with room for big groups. The prices are cheap, with a great variety of beers and a pretty okay choice of liquors. There is no food menu, though they may have frozen pizzas. The Nashville hot chicken is very tasty, and the seasoned fries are excellent. The bartending skills are top notch.
