Wish I had photos to share but I do not. A word goes a long way. this is one of the best places you can go for Chinese cuisine. If you've never visited you should at least once to form your own opinion about the place. I don't think it'll disappoint. I bypass other places just to get to China Star in West Frankfort Illinois. I usually dine in and sometimes I take out.. but for the most part I dine in. I like the atmosphere because I like they play light jazz music....
On Christmas Day at lunch time, the place was bustling, three-quarters packed.
The service was excellent. The food, cooked just right, was delicious and tender. I especially enjoyed the breaded shrimp, the deep-fried chicken and more.
The prices were reasonable as well
The atmosphere warm, temperature wise, and also in sound. Low level background Christmas music, slightly louder than the generally low level clients conversations....

Kid-friendliness: I love that the waitress was so friendly! We always eat off the buffet. Always filled and clean. Come here once or twice a week with my son. Love it.
