All things are relative to your expectations. If you are going to Mike's with the expectation of a 5-star dining experience, you are going to be disappointed. However, if you are looking for a great dive bar, this is the place. It is very small ... 2 tables and maybe 6 barstools. There is a decent sized patio, but we didn't go out there. The place is held together by all of the stickers on nearly every surface. The server was the bartender, the server, and the cook. She did it all seamlessly. The food was fantastic. The party ordered cheese balls and onion rings. Each were huge portions and more than enough for the three of us. I ordered a tenderloin. It was about the size of two buns, meaty, and lightly breaded. Very tasty! The party also ordered the cream cheese double cheeseburger and the grilled cheese double cheese burger. The cream cheese burger had a slather of Jalapeño cream cheese with pepper jack cheese between the burgers. My son loved it. The grilled cheese burger was a grilled cheese sandwich with a double cheeseburger in between. My other son called it cheesy deliciousness! Mike's might be the top dive bar in Peoria. I will definitely be back!

Lee was unprofessional we had conversations if was offended should've addressed right then not three weeks later. Be comfortable in your skin. I literally told you of a transitioning and you serve me my drink and we conversed. Phony unprofessional I liked Mike's but that was a weak move.

Didn't have bar stools the first time I went with my dad, a long time ago. Always tried to drop in whenever I was in PIA. Very fond memories. Glad to see they're still there.

Best bar as far as I'm concerned. Only time I've seen Mickeys hand grenades in a bar. Which means you can drink malt liquor, but not be trashy, because you're in a real establishment. Service is incredible too
