Small menu, all good. They have Redbreast, which if you like whiskey and never tried you should. Lunch, laid back vibe.
Didn't have bar stools the first time I went with my dad, a long time ago. Always tried to drop in whenever I was in PIA. Very fond memories. Glad to see they're still there.

Best bar as far as I'm concerned. Only time I've seen Mickeys hand grenades in a bar.
Which means you can drink malt liquor, but not be trashy, because you're in a real establishment.
Service is incredible too

Super chill, very cool little place. It was an interesting find while I was out walking - an ACTUAL neighborhood bar! Amazing giant tenderloins, good variety of beer on tap, nice outdoor seating. Definitely gonna be my summer spot!

Spicy BPT at Mikes Tavern in Peoria, IL.Very unique spicy seasoned breading, they have regular seasoned too. Awesome sandwich, great price, great service! Also, had homemade onion rings that did NOT disappoint.

Went to Mike's Tavern in West Peoria IL for lunch today. This is a small hole in the wall bar and grill. You first think of a two and a half garage that someone turned into a bar. You would be close . The owner is happy to tell you the history of the place. I had their Tenderloin. Crispy crust, toasted and buttered bun. On the thin side of tenderloins but still thicker then most. Just comes with chopped onions and at least a dozen pickles. No lettuce or tomatoes. Husband had the Double Cheeseburger. Once again only chopped onions and pickles. We shared an order of Truffel Oil Fries. Hot and crispy. They were hard to stop eating! Normally these are Parmesan Truffle Oil Fries but they were out of Parmesan. Definitely worth a stop in for lunch. Kitchen isn't open on Monday or Tuesday. Small menu but food is GOOD EATS!

Really nice neighborhood bar worth checking out. A group of us went because we had heard about their tenderloins. It was good, but I thought the double cheese burger was better. Prices were reasonable, and the Oktoberfest beer was good and cold. There are only a few tables but plenty of room at the bar. We'll go back.

This is the best bar. Any other bar I go to, I think "I wish I were at Mike's instead." You're perfect -- never change.
