Davanti has a well-sized menu with something for everything but not everything and the kitchen sink. The food has always been delicious. They accommodate larger groups quite well. Service is welcoming and competent.

We hadn't been there in quite some time and we were excited to go back. Most of our food was very good. But felt a bit overpriced for some of the entrées such as the shrimp pasta. However, I was mainly upset with the service , our server tried to upsell many things without telling us there was a charge. I did say no to a few things but when I ordered the kids burger, he asked with cheese or no cheese, even though on the menu it didn't say anything about cheese. And the baby said yes cheese and they charge me more for it. I had originally planned to just order the burger. She normally doesn't even eat the cheese and they gave her this weird gross fried cheese on top. It wasn't even like a normal burger cheese like American. So we took it off and she didn't eat it, but I had to pay for it. It was also my daughter‘s birthday and I had to ask for the birthday dessert. It was in the notes for the reservation. also, when it came time to pay the bill, I'm the one that always has the credit card and I am the woman people always give my husband the check which is fine but when I give it back with my credit card and then they come back to the table and give it back to my husband. I find it very offensive because I'm the one that has to sign it and it has my name on it . Our sever was Angel. Lastly the server that sings happy birthday in Italian was so friendly and really made it special at the end so I wanted to thank him

We were celebrating my husband's birthday and were disappointed with the lack of attention from the server. Our mothers ordered fountain drinks and were never asked if they wanted a refill. The rest of us had alcoholic drinks and only 1 of us had a second because he asked when the food arrived. My brother-in-law arrived a bit late and wasn't ready for his drink order but the server took a long time to come back and check on him. The rest of us were waiting so that we could toast the birthday boy. If the restaurant were busy I could understand but it wasn't. The service got so bad, my husband said we would get dessert elsewhere. Then the server brought him ice cream. And yet there was never anything from him where he asked if anyone wanted another drink. We all said no to dessert.

The Brussel sprouts were a must order, the beet salad was delicious, the chicken Milanese was so filling, the burger was delicious, the pizza was made in a fire roasted oven very authentic, the salmon was fresh; for dessert we had the peach cobbler and the lemon berry pie. Everything on the menu was fresh & amazing!

The braised pork and mashed potato was very good but served lukewarm. My wife's pasta dish was warm at best. Food was served 5 minutes after ordering which was great but maybe it was cold as it was sitting for some time??? Not sure. Ambience and service was nice. $25 for one glass of their lower priced Chablis seemed excessive for the area. Extra charges for 3 small slices of bread with meal. I would have rated it higher if the food was warm.

This restaurant is very average. My salmon was not that fresh, my husband's pasta dish was mediocre, and the service was very slow. While it's nice not to be rushed, you should be able to find your server after 20 minutes. The ambiance is very nice and the hostess was polite, but those two things are the only positive features during our first visit.

Our first time here and everything was delicious ! We had the meatball appetizer, Italian chopped salad, Cacio E Pepe and rigatoni vodka. For dessert we had the summer special - pistachio ice cream sandwich. So good! We were not disappointed.

I loved where we were seated. An elevated circular booth gave us a view of the dining area and it was quieter. Service was excellent throughout the nite. Bruschetta and meatballs were great as was the squash and farrow salad. Whitefish and carbonara were disappointing. It's a great spot and we will be back.

First time dining at Davanti...It was very good. From the Chopped salad that we shared to our main dish to dessert recommended by our waiter...It was all excellent. We were celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary, and the only disappointing thing was that they requested a special occasion in the comments. I wrote that it was our first time coming to Davanti, and we look forward to celebrating our 35th. It is always fun to have the restaurant acknowledge "Happy Anniversary". It wasn't crowded due to a Monday evening so the little attention to detail on why we were even there was missed! No big deal..but don't ask for any special occasion or celebration if you don't bring it up? The outside dining looked very nice, but it was a chilly evening so we chose to stay inside where it was quite a nice space.

Davanti Enoteca is a solid neighborhood gem. The menu offers a wide selection and everything is done well. Perhaps one of our favorite restaurants in the area

While the food is usually very good here, I was very unhappy w/where they seated our table of five. I had called four days ahead to request the "brick cave" area. I was told that would be fine, but there would be other people also in that area. (which is expected). When we arrived we were seated in the middle, with customers & servers knocking into our seats the whole time. I asked why they didn't honor my request, he said he had no written notice of what I'd asked for! I had asked for a manager, so there was a breakdown in communication obviously. My bad for not requesting the name of who I spoke to. He could have comped one of the appetizers, but he didn't seem to care. I will take my business elsewhere from now on.
