White Washed “Mexican” Restaurant. Waiter could not speak Spanish given the fact the menu is in Spanish. Ordered 2 Tacos de lengua and received only 1 as he could not understand Spanish with their throw of American ingredients and small proportion of meat with lots of fatty that wasn’t removed when prepared. Also ordered an horchata and received kid size small cup with CONCENTRATED POWDERED horchata mix instead of homemade that made me cough after the first sip equivalent to a spoonful of cinnamon to your throat. Really hope it was the location and not the corporation but given the name is in English it’s the entire business that’s the off brand copy of Mexican culture in a wealthy primarily white suburb so no Mexican could complain of their monstrosity. Mexican food shouldn’t be expensive and its downtown Western Springs location shouldn’t be an excuse for its prices.

Tacos were amazing beer good price and staff look like they enjoy working here 10 out of 10!

$14 for this small torta… typically these are made with teleras not bolillos. Not worth it for the amount of food you get. Will not be returning, I’m still hungry …

Emily is a great worker

My dad went to pick up fajitas and they gave him pure vegetables and about 3, 2 inch beef strips, barely 2 oz of meat. The vegetables were a couple of onions and bell peppers, meat had barely a flavor cause it was just pure onions, gave little bit of rice and beans, very overpriced charged $3 for can of coke. Before my dad ate he asked them where the rest of the meat was lol and they didn’t acknowledge him and just smirked at him the rest of the time

Not enough food to be this high-priced. The 2 beef empanadas I got for $10 weren’t worth it, they were tiny. Maybe 4 of those could be worth $10 but 2?? Overpriced and not filling. The sauces it came with were decent, but the empanadas were dry and the flavor wasn’t memorable.

The food taste good but it is pricey or at least I expected more food for the money I paid. The service is fast and ambience is good. Parking can be tricky as this is in a busy area but we were lucky to find parking just outside the restaurant.

Not a true Mexican store. You don’t get salsa and chips in the beginning.

I really wanted to like this place because it is close to where I work. I ordered the nachos with carnitas added. I bought a horchata for a drink. My total was $17. I thought for the cost there should have been way more meat on the nachos. The chips were very hard and the carnitas had a lot of fat. I do not eat fat so for me it was not pleasant to have to pick out all the fat before eating. The drink was very small and with ice it was basically a few drinks. Overall, it was just an okay small order of nachos. The service was fine nothing to note positive.or negative he basically took my order and gave me my order. Atmosphere was fine again nothing to note positive or negative. The restaurant was clean and overall nice place to eat. If I decide to go back I will not order anything with meat.
