I grew up in Western Springs, in a house on
the “other side of the tracks”. Almost every
Sunday, my father and I would go to Kirschbaum’s for a dozen donuts. Those donuts were sooo good.
Delicious, no matter what you get! I’ve been going there for over 50 years. Whether it be yellow smile cookies which have always been a favorite, tea cookies, donuts, coffee cakes or cakes, they’re always delicious! Everyday items or special occasion cakes, we only go to Kirschbaum’s❣️
