Just a wonderful bakery. I was able to easily order online and pick a date I needed to pick up my order. It was waiting for me when I got there, and I even bought a King Cake when I was there. Everything looked wonderful - bread, coffee cake, donuts, cookies - and the staff were friendly and efficient. I highly recommend. 💕

Kirschbaum's made our wedding cake 45 years ago. My husband and I returned for the first time today. Everything is still home made from scratch and so delicious. Thank you for keeping it real.

It’s extremely inconvenient for this bakery to be closed on Sundays. Supporting local is always the goal but with the hours you have makes it hard.

Are you out of towners you can order ahead online and your order is ready for pickup. As I watched the shelves quickly empty during my wait. Don’t be disappointed! Order ahead ❤️

Old - style bakery with delicious home- made assortments of donuts, coffee-cakes, cookies, pies, etc. Across from train station.

If you're a person of color I would gladly reccomend staying away from this place. Owner immediately gave very prejudice vibes, basically implied (me) a black male with tattoos and piercings was a common street thug despite being well spoken and cordial. Will definitely not be doing business here again nor will my friends or family.

Utterly obsessed with the smiley face cookies. I would eat one a day if I could. They are perfection.

I was a Kirschbaum’s regular since 1977. Whichever family member took over has gone the way of shrinkenomics. The donuts are a joke now. Tiny little things.The smiley face cookies too. You’re in Western Springs, keep your product the same and raise your prices. 90% of your customers pull up in BMW’s and Mercedes. I think they’ll be ok.

I go to Weber’s now, it’s worth the wait.
