As a fellow small business owner in the community, I’m always looking to support other local gems—and Smallcakes is definitely one of them! I tried their cupcakes for the first time today for my son’s birthday, and I was completely blown away. Every cupcake was beautifully made, incredibly fresh, and absolutely delicious.

The owner is not only exceptionally talented but also one of the kindest, most welcoming people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Her passion shows in every detail, from presentation to flavor.

I’m already planning to use Smallcakes for future celebrations—both personal and professional. At Hinsdale Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry, we’re often bringing treats to colleagues and friends, and I’m excited to make Smallcakes our new go-to.

Great cupcakes

A young lady helped us out. She was super friendly and with no hesitation fixed our cupcake order. Amazing taste & Customer service!

This place is the best! The employees are always very kind and helpful, the cupcakes are always moist and delicious, and I love that they custom make gluten free cupcakes! Another cool thing about this shop is they’re always innovating and trying new things - supporting local coffee vendors by selling cold brew, selling ice cream, and making really beautiful custom designs for cakes and cupcakes. 5 stars for sure.

They havent updated their hours for some time now. Ive tried going here twice driving 25-30 mins and both times they we’re closed. What kinda of business cant take the time to update their store hours for customers? They close at 6pm for anyone looking to visit this location

My wife sent me to pick up the cupcakes she had ordered for out daughter's birthday. When I arrived, the member of staff informed me that my wife had already picked them up. I explained the impossibility of this and had her call my wife to discuss. She refused to understand that a mistake had been made and I left with no cake for the birthday. Absolutely surreal experience.

Their cars & coffee event is big — and big fun!
