Not what I expected since the signs make it seem like it's a chili parlor, not a bar that serves chili. The service was friendly and prompt, and the chili wasn't bad but 50 cents for onions is too much. Oyster crackers ( a generous bowl full) are complimentary, though.
Exactly what I was looking for ? The service went above and beyond on a cold winter night. The place was packed.
Vegetarian options: They have a grilled cheese sandwich, and the cheese is pretty good quality. I topped it with onions and jalapenos and it was delish. I appreciate the vegetarian recommendation. Chili is not vegetarian, but the service went above and beyond.

Good local neighborhood vibes, good chili and good service. Nothing fancy, we just say at the bar and enjoyed a nice bowl of chili with all the usual fixins (onion, oyster crackers, cheese). Served with a selection of hot sauces. Chili was tasty and the atmosphere was friendly, we'll definitely be back!
