I recently visited Bollywood Bistro, and it was a truly unpleasant experience. The level of hygiene and professionalism was shocking. I witnessed the chef scratching his hands in his pants and, without even washing his hands, proceeded to prepare food. It was honestly disgusting and concerning, especially considering he sniffed his fingers before continuing to cook.

The staff were unprofessional and didn’t follow basic sanitation protocols, like properly cleaning the tables. My food was cold, and the naan was so hard, it was inedible. The paneer gravy had bubbles in it and tasted like it had been frozen and reheated.

I strongly recommend staying away from this restaurant—there are plenty of other places with much better hygiene and food quality. Avoid it at all costs.

Best Indian food in Chicagoland area bar none. Tried Amritsari Chole Kulche, Kadhai paneer, samosa chaat, papdi chaat, aloo parathe. Everything was top notch. Will go back again and try everything in their menu. Highly recommend

I’m not a vegetarian, but everything I tried here was outstanding! The Daal Tadka and Butter Paneer were packed with so much flavor, I didn’t even miss the meat. The spices were perfectly balanced, and you can tell a lot of care goes into every dish. Bollywood Bistro has definitely earned a spot as one of my favorite Indian restaurants. Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely amazing food! The fire-roasted eggplant flatbread was a standout—something so unique and absolutely delicious. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor, and the quality of the ingredients truly shone through. This is hands down the best Indian food I’ve had in a while. I’ll definitely be back soon to try more of their incredible menu! Highly recommend!

The food is really awesome!!! Had authentic Indian food in a very long time!!

We had Malai Kofta, Garlic naan, Paneer tandoori flatbread, Mango Manchurian sizzler.

Everything was delicious and so good!
