Very good food. My first time here. I will be back. The server was helpful with my selection. Chicken was lightly breaded and very tasteful and tender. The mushroom sauce delicious (other side this time) the shredded beets were a nice addition and the salad or chopped cabbage salad was sweet and complimentary to the meal.

A few days ago I ordered Cepelinai for my home party. I was pleased with care, and attention that I was served with. Sales person double checked the order, and made sure that I get dressing that I wanted. Everybody who had launch with me were impressed with a good taste, and quality of food. I am very thankful to Ruta's staff for going above and beyond crating this great experience for me and my friends.

We had bad experience with service. First of all, we ordered drinks. Wrong drinks were served to me and my husband, no drinks for kids. Each me and my husband went several times to the counter to get right drink, but it was room temperature. When we complained about it we were told that we are very high maintenance clients and that it is very bad! Very sad to hear it from the owner, apparently she isn’t interested in keeping her clients happy at all

A blonde lady with glasses was super rude to me when I was telling her the food tasted disgusting. There was hair in my food and they didn't want to refund me. A horrible experience! The food tasted completely frozen and un fresh. DONT SHOP HERE!!! TRULY A DISGUSTING PLACE!

I placed an order for "cheburekas" yesterday and double ask the waitress to make sure it will be fresh made because i was buying food for my pregnant friend. Lady on the front the cashier told me it fresh made and i have nothing to worry .When i got home and open that bag i was in shock, the food that i order was burnt, you can clearly tell that was reheated at least two times maybe even more. It used to be a very nice restaurant but right now i'm very disappointed

I am Lithuanian, eat family prepped Lithuanian food and cook Lithuanian food at home. I've also ordered from all the Lithuanian restos in the area and live very close to Cafe Ruta. I know what Lithuanian food is. The food here has unfortunately gone in the wrong direction. My recent order contained food that was very much overcooked and had to be taken off the table and driven back to be returned. It was that bad. Worse was how they tried to convince us that the food was normal even after we've ordered it many times from them. Sad. That food should never have made it out of the kitchen and she shoukd have just accepted the loss and owned it. It's hit or miss. The kaldunai are always good because they are frozen and boiled to order FYI.
