One gripe: Don't get me wrong. I love the TASTE of the food but for certain items... such as the fried rice+protein (pork, chicken, shrimp, and "China Chef" varieties) the top layer of the carton after opening contains almost ALL of the protein (I assume positioned there to illicit a good first impression) while the remaining 75% contains almost all rice with basically no meat at all. a lot of the negative comments are related to price but, prices are going up everywhere! anyways this is our go to cheap chinese place. when most entrees in restaurants alone are $12, here you get entree, side of rice and an egg roll which is plenty for the same price. We got 3 lunch specials for 2 adults and 2 kids and it was more than enough. When i went in for pickup the place is def old school, i’m a sentimental sap so i found it nostalgic if anything. I've dined here for many, many years with friends and family, ever since I was a kid, and the food has always been incredible. I can't get enough of the China Chef fried rice. It's hands down the best fried rice I've ever tasted. My usual orders are the mongolian beef, chicken lu mein, and oranged flavored chicken, and they're all amazing dishes. I also enjoy the dim lit cozy atmosphere.
