They have to lower the drink prices. Been a patron for years. No margarita is worth 20 bucks. I actually enjoyed 89 more when it was a brisket joint. I'm everywhere, I'm finally looking at drink prices at my age. I quit going to a restaurant, your losing $500.00 bucks a week.

We had a rehearsal dinner at Grill 89 on September 5th for 42 people. The food was delicious, and the room was decorated perfectly. But what really made it a special night were the servers-they were spectacular! Thank you so much for everything!

A Sad Decline in Quality
It genuinely pains me to write this review, as this was my absolute go-to spot for years. I've been a loyal customer, visiting 3-4 times a month, and have always recommended it to friends. However, there was a change about two months ago. The menu was overhauled, and it's become clear that this was not just a change in selection, but a drastic reduction in ingredient quality. They are unmistakably using cheaper, subpar ingredients. The homemade taste and quality that I loved are gone, replaced by processed food service delivery ingredients, oily, processed taste that you'd expect from a fast-food chain, not an established local restaurant. The quality has gone so far downhill it's almost unrecognizable. Even my local friends have mentioned it recently.
I suspect there must be new management, as I could have never imagined the previous owners resorting to such cost-cutting measures at the expense of their loyal customers and the restaurant's reputation.
The one positive is that the wait staff service remains good and attentive, but unfortunately, great service can't make up for disappointing food.
Until the quality returns to its former standard, I cannot justify spending my money here anymore. I truly hope this feedback is heard, as it's coming from a once-devoted patron.

I’m giving Grill 89 two stars. The staff were all super friendly and the atmosphere was really nice, so things started off on a good note. We ordered 3 chicken sandwiches and the chips with 3 dips to start, but unfortunately, there was a hair in my mom’s chicken sandwich and later found another hair in her ketchup that she accidentally scooped up with a french fry. We let the staff know, and while they were very apologetic and took the sandwich off the bill (which we definitely appreciated), it was still a pretty disappointing experience. On top of that, the food didn’t live up to the price. You’re basically paying just under $20 per person for food that tastes average. That said, we still tipped our server a little over 20%, as if the sandwich that had been rightfully removed from the bill, was included because it wasn’t his fault. He was really sweet, handled everything right away, and overall did his job very well. We understand accidents happen but since this was our first time at Grill 89, unfortunately, it’ll also be our last. Hopefully things like that don’t happen there again
Needed a place for a luncheon in the afternoon and grilling 89 fit the Bill the staff was awesome always filling everyone’s needs and the food was the best I’ve tasted in a while and their variety of food is very good Five stars.
