It was bad. The tuna wasn't what I expected. It was very slimy and it looked black. I don't know why. I go to other sushi places and their tuna is phenomenal. I ordered 3 things and I couldn't eat it. It was that bad.

A Westmont gem and one of the best sushi restaurant's in Chicagoland. Savor a variety of creative rolls and Japanese cuisine in a relaxed and semi-private setting. I often eat here with my wife's family and the staff is very accommodating to large parties. The staff is also very experienced and helpful in providing recommendations.

Bon Appetite Appetizers: Edamame (just the right amount of salt), Gyoza (crispy and flavorful), Pepper Salt Avocado (our favorite! Can be enjoyed as a small meal), Miso Soup

Have-to-Have it Rolls: Chicago Fire (Our favorite. Just the right amount of spice), Godzilla, Spicey Tuna, Forbidden City

Went on a Monday and we were the only ones there, which was already a little odd. We ordered three rolls, and the portions were tiny—honestly smaller than what you'd get at a grocery store. The service was fine, but the food really missed the mark. I paid $9.95 for two pork spring rolls that definitely weren’t worth it, and over $30 for three rolls that didn’t live up to the price. On top of that, I was charged $74.49 on my card instead of $54.49—even though I had already tipped $20 in cash. So basically, I was overcharged by $20. I won’t be coming back, and if you do decide to go, double-check your bill before you pay.

Casual

The Wild Roll had a delicious spicy kick that really stood out. The tuna was flavorful and fresh. The Sexy Mexican Roll looked amazing with its guac and sriracha topping, but it ended up tasting a bit bland and wasn't really my favorite, I wish it had the unffffff that the first roll had!
