Food has always been good till now. I got their shrimp salad. I really like their chicken Mexican salad but this salad. Was fishy. Shrimp should never ever be fishy. I have to be very selective about what I eat because I'm a diabetic. And I thought I would give this a run. But it was pure crap

Started with the reservation system being down. Then the wine selections on the menu being out of date. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich which was okay. The chicken tenders are cooked until very crispy l, so we sent them back and asked for more tender ones. Side salad is an extra charge and not worth it. Half is bacon bits. See the photos. Service was just okay.

Tried this spot for the first time. Great service, wonderful food. Had the shaved prime rib sandwich, absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back to try more from the menu! Way to go, Westmont!

The beers and food were good, but the service was a little slow, especially since we were basically the only people there. Also, our total came out to $130 for 2 entrees, 1 app, a side salad, and a bunch of tasters. The price for the beers was conveniently not listed on the menu. If we come back, we'll be sure to ask how much they are before ordering more than a few.

I have been here twice with my family. It is a very nice location, and the food and service are very good. The pretzel is amazing, and we enjoyed the trivia.

The beer is very good and drinks are fine. I’d say go to Whiskey Hill if you’ve already eaten dinner. The food does not deliver at that price point. The menu sounds great in theory, but the execution is poor. Either it falls flat in terms of how the flavors play together or it gets made wrong. For example, a friend ordered one of their salads and ended up with an unappealing mound of iceberg lettuce that she couldn’t finish. Yesterday, I ordered the pizza with Alfredo sauce and a balsamic reduction, and the kitchen forgot the balsamic drizzle.

I’ve tried the food maybe four different visits because the restaurant is so close to our house, and I like the environment. Every single time, something has been lacking, and I felt like I overpaid on the food. (They also tack on a unremovable 3% service charge). Try Pierce Tavern in downers grove. It would be well-worth driving 3 minutes to get there as the food is all fantastic and drinks cost $3 less.

I placed a takeout order today that included the arancini, double burger, chicken sandwich, and steak bites. The atmosphere of the establishment seemed vibrant and welcoming, even from a takeout perspective, which initially gave us high expectations.

At first glance, everything looked appealing. The sandwiches were exceptionally soft and easy to cut through, which raised our hopes. However, as we began eating, we noticed something was off with the texture. While the burger wasn't terrible, it didn’t meet expectations, and we ended up eating less than half before moving on to the other dishes.

When we tried the steak bites, we were also confused by the texture, which resembled a tough brisket more than steak. Midway through eating, I noticed an unusual green color on a piece of meat. Initially assuming it was seasoning, I scraped off the excess sauce and found that the meat itself was green. I confirmed this with my family, and we all began feeling nauseous shortly after. As a precaution, we discarded the rest of the food.

To make matters worse, I attempted to contact the restaurant multiple times (3–4 calls) to report the issue, but received no response—each time being told they were unavailable.

Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this establishment. I would like a callback from the restaurant

It's a bar with food. Very nice inside. Easy to miss as it's located on a side street.

My husband and I thought we’d try this place out and we were pleasantly surprised. I felt like this place would be a restaurant you would find in the city. Very cool interior with chandeliers and unique seating around the bar. The food was good, probably could of skipped the appetizer (Rangoon- it was just ok and came out cold)., our entrees however , were fantastic. I had a delicious shrimp salad and my husband ordered the meat lovers pizza. Both were awesome, we will definitely be returning! Also, the service was great as well!
