“They only serve lunch only during the weekdays (no dinner and no weekends). However it is the best lunch around! It's like your mom went in the kitchen and made it for you. Soups are made from scratch and they are delicious. The BLT on rye is outstanding. And if they have it, you have to try the potato salad. This is a bar with a Northwoods atmosphere that has affordable prices but there are some tables to sit at. They also have a Friday fish special.“
“I love this Family-owned business and especially that it is owned by a veteran. My family has been coming here for years, and my go to was always the Shrimp tacos! My last time in with a friend I tried a Burger. I highly recommend The Burgatory. Goat cheese on a burger- Who knew? It's drool-worthy. The other new addition I'm obsessed with is the Fried Pickles and Cheese curds appetizer. Why has no one else thought to combine these two before? And their homemade pie is unbeatable! New flavor each week. The staff is fabulous and these guys just celebrated 15 years in business. Cheers to Ellyn's Tap & Grill.“
“Practically no wait at all to be seated. Our server Dana was very friendly and attentive with our table and got us refills without anyone asking. Pizza and calamari were both delicious, would definitely recommend, especially during lent as they even have a menu for anyone that can't eat meat because of lent.“
“This place is truly a hidden gem. We were recommended to check this spot out by a local bartender, and we are so glad we did! The ambiance was really chill and non pretentious. Our mixologist, David, was super personable and well versed in his craft. He’s bringing experience from cocktail programs in the city to the burbs! It was a cute little spot that gave speakeasy vibes. We initially thought we were underdressed, but this place wasn’t booshie at all, and there was no judgement like some places. The cocktails were creative and well balanced. I’m so glad we have a place like this nearby. We will definitely be back soon!Update:We just went back because of our previous experience. I brought a group of 10 (all industry people). We spent over 1k as a group for my friend’s 40th bday. I raved about this place only to feel unwelcome in the end. A young female bartender tells us we were too loud. Honestly, we obviously had a lot to drink, but nobody was being reckless. We were told people were complaining. From a business standpoint you made us feel unwelcome in an establishment where we spent money. Take the $60 2 top who complained over what we spent there tonight? At least pull one of us aside instead of making a grand announcement. Chad you’re a great and talented owner, but train your staff how to talk to people. Just tell us, dont make a scene.“
“Located in downtown Naperville. You can find parking in either the two parking garages or they have outdoor parking lots. I was in the mood for gourmet burgers to satisfy the craving. I came across this place after a quick search. Restaurant itself isn’t big but it is roomy. We came for lunch so it wasn’t too busy. We got seated right away and we decided to try a couple of the burger creations. We went with the fried pickle burger with truffle parmesan fries and bulleit bourbon burger. We also had an appetizer but it is no longer on the menu, so I’ll skip that. I would definitely come back to try some of the other concoctions they have.-fried pickle burger came with cheddar, pepper jack, fried pickles, tomato, and chipotle aioli. It was cooked medium rare. It’s a 5. Very tasty burger. All of the ingredients paired together nicely. Those fried pickles provided a nice crunch. Those truffle fries are the icing on top. Not too salty, prepared wonderfully.-bulleit bourbon burger came with swiss, arugula, bacon, sweet caramelized onions, and bulleit bourbon honey glaze. Cooked medium rare. That honey glaze was the star of the show, added a litty zesty flavor. That’s a 5.“
“I didn't expect much when we stopped in on a Sunday right around lunchtime and no one was there other than a few in the bar. We ended-up very pleasantly surprised as the menu was quite extensive and everyone could find something to eat. We had two people get personal thin pizzas and one kid burger sliders and one adult chicken Parm sliders. Add a few cups of soup and some sodas and we were set. The chicken was very tasty and you got three good size ones with fries so I had one left to send for lunch with the kids. The waitress was lovely and understanding of kids who took forever to choose! We will definitely be back!“
“Had a great time here, the food was great, service was excellent, and definitely a good food category that is barely touched south of the WI/IL border. Worth a return trip and will be back as long as the beer selection is maintained and the kitchen quality remains steady to what we had. Excellent choice considering the location and ease of hitting craft breweries afterwards.“
“Hands down Juan makes the best tacos in the area!!!! He is phenomenal at his craft! And can’t beat bingo on Tuesday’s if you are craving tacos! Or any food for that matter, literally everything I’ve ordered from here the two years I’ve lived in lisle whether take out or dine in has been incredible!Highly recommend this family owned hot spot for great food, good drinks and awesome community!“
“Baked French Onion soup perfect ✅Cheese Curds with Ranch Dressing - OMG the breading is light and crispy. And the ranch dressing is great (can't put my finger on the pinch making is special) North Avenue Pub Buger- good?North Ave BLT-yummy with applewood ? bacon.“
“I cannot comment on the food yet, but the menu looked better than most bars around, especially when considering the name. I unfortunately showed up right at the tail end of the evening when KARAOKE and the Kitchen were closing. Some people have all of the luck, right? Cheap drinks.“
“Had a mango beer that was pretty good. Enjoyed choosing music with the touch tunes. Nice pool tables even though we didn't play. All in all an above average watering hole located right on Ogden a stones throw from where I'm currently staying.“
“Everything on the menu is excellent! Cheese curds are the best ever and I am from WI. Pound for pound bar, food, billiards, can't be beat! Right on Rt59 close to I88 Seana is the best and works her butt off to make this place what it is.“
“Great time!! My first time there but we had a blast! The band, Claremont Drive was playing! They were awesome! Their baby boomer music had us up and dancing all night long and they had a nice size dance floor. The food was good and everyone was wonderful and welcoming. Unfortunately I can’t remember the waitresss name but she deserves some kind of award. Apparently they had some people call off but our waitress ran around like she had a rocket in her pants. Took care of everybody in record time with a smile on her face and a good word for everyone. Hope I can be notified if Claremont Drive comes back!“
“I've been here a couple times, the food is always good. But I think what makes this place stand out to me is the level of service. The wait staff is always attentive and constantly come back to check on you, not in an annoying way, but they have it down to a science it seems. They are never pushy and always friendly. It's a great place for you to be able to hang out with a few friends and grab a drink and a good meal.“
“Rosie’s is your local friendly neighborhood bar. When I walk in, I instantly feel welcomed and at ease. It’s my favorite place to grab a beer and relax, the entire staff is full of wonderful, kind individuals. It’s incredibly sad that others are providing false reviews and misleading patrons. Rosie’s is a great bar with great people!“
