Service was exceptional, big shout out to Alex, he was on point all night and made us feel welcomed. Food is consistently excellent as well.
Our issue was that they allowed for an 830p reservation when they were closing at 900p; we were early so they sat us at 815p. The waitress was all over us, pushing us to order, serving as things were prepared rather than all at once. We asked why before ordering dessert at 912p only then did we find out they had closed at 900p. We paid $165 for two and received a ill-prepared (cold) meal and were rushed to finish. We have had better meals there. We would expect 90 minutes minimal to enjoy a nice dinner, 30 minutes for fast food. We received fast food service and nice dinner pricing. If we would have known they were just squeezing us in we would have dined elsewhere. We will probably not go back..
The food portion was poor. Grouper was bland . My side of fries was 8 fries . Not worth 60 with tip. No alcohol just a coke & one shared app.
Always excellent quality food and service. The restaurant is not carpeted and quite expansive so it gets a bit noisy but not so much you cannot hear each other. We visit for Christmas Eve with our family and other special-and non special-occasions. No one is ever disappointed.
Ordered the whole lobster, on arrival the tail was removed from the lobster. Took a bite of the lobster meat, I could barely bit into it very tough meat for a 1.25 pound whole lobster. Sent it back. Our second time at chins. Not close to the food quality we experienced first visit..
Bob Chinn's never disappoints. Food and service are always outstanding. Their seafood is flown in fresh daily and it makes a difference. Don't dismiss the steaks either, I'll put them up against any steakhouse.
We went for a Christmas eve lunch. I made reservation for noon. it was perfect and the servant was amazing. Food was fresh.
Had a nice meal, fish you cant get at a lot of other places, and they honored our seating request. Nice appetizers, nice soup, and nice meal. Enough for leftovers too. Reasonable combos , both on the regulare menu and specials menu. Had both the lobster risotto and lobster pot pie too.
Server was outstanding and despite how busy the restaurant was, she took time to chat with us and ensure we had everything we needed. Food prices have definitely gone up in the past few months but portions stayed consistent. Key lime pie was served frozen which was odd for our Florida friends but was tasty. Highly recommend the clam chowder and chargrilled tuna.
Always excellent food and service. A little disappointed in the much smaller menu compared to a few years ago. Also the salad bar was much more limited as far as selections especially for an additional $16 with an entre

I have visited Bob‘s crab house for many years going back about 45 years. Last night's experience was subpar. The service was below par trying to find my waitress sometimes was not easy the food. I was completely disappointed my appetizer oysters. Rockefeller came out warm if almost cold I had to send back to heat it up my main course salmon dish. Also, I had to send back because it was warm in the center almost cold, and it was extremely salty. I did not indicate this at the time of service. I didn't wanna wait any longer even though the place was not busy. The staff acted like it was busy and they had other things more important so therefore, I question if I will ever even go back at this time, but I leave that open and we'll see very disappointed for a dinner for three well over $200.
Food was good except the scallops appetizers they had a vinegar taste. We all shared and after we tried them we couldnt eat them. We informed the waitress that they tasted bad but she wouldnt do anything for us.
Fresh never frozen king crab is a wonderful once a year treat ... but @$230 / dinner, well it's just had the value sucked out of it ... then to blame tariffs... c'mon we now tariffs Alaska? A disappointment this time.
Very good, great service, I ordered a dish I didn't like, and the were so accommodating to let me switch from Ahi Tuna to Swordfish.
Great to be back to the original location. We enjoyed the service, the food, the options, and the company. Well done!
