Amazing brewery, definitely a must try. It's self-service so you can do small pours and taste as many as you'd like. Nearly every beer was phenomenal, I was especially happy with their unique brand of a Hefenweize called Chicago-Hefe. They have a huge selection. Plenty of outdoor seating and indoor seating. As a bonus the food there was also very good, the wings were cooked to perfection. Plenty of board games too for passing the time with friends and family. I'll definitely be back!
It's always a good time at District Brew Yards. The fact that you can sample many different brews at one time is a draw for me as I like to sample. Given the number of taps available for each brewery, I was surprised to find many taps off for lack of supply. The food served at this location was mainly pizza but it was well made, fresh, and flavorful for a reasonable price. It's a fun beer hall atmosphere for hanging out.
5 Stars
Awesome spot—just a stone’s throw from my hotel, and it couldn’t have been more convenient. District Brew Yards in Wheeling has 5+ brewery options all under one roof, and the self-serve setup is such a fun and efficient way to sample different beers. I enjoyed two solid lagers, and there’s no shortage of space to relax—both inside and out. The outdoor area is perfect for these beautiful spring days.
Food options looked great, and I’ll definitely be back. Especially looking forward to Fridays—half-off wings sounds like the perfect pairing for another beer run!
This place is so lame and boring. No TVs and forced to sit with a bunch of randos and play board games? I mean really guys what are we 7 years old? Food sucks I had the burger and it was cold and small. All the beer tastes like rusty Pennie’s I ended up settling with the one that tastes similar to miller lite. Save yourself the hassle and go to a normal bar not this weird place
This place is more like a cafeteria than an actual bar/restaurant who wants to go to have a drink with no TVs or anything to do besides talk to the person next to you overpriced beer horrendous food I’m shocked this place is still open as business is slow. There are definitely better options in the area besides this overpriced wannabe restaurant/bar. What type of bar has board games to keep you entertained one trying very hard to be one and clearly this one has failed
Nobody is there to help you when you walk in. You ask for a menu they point “over there” where you have to self serve yourself. Then they add 15% tip to your bill. For what? For you to do all the work yourself. The wings were not good. Strange breading & flavor options. Nobody is there to pick up when you’re done eating. They also don’t explain the card situation for beer so we just drank warm tap water. Also the guy yelling out order numbers over a microphone like you’re at an auction is incredibly annoying. No music playing. Like the other review said, no one wants to get off work to tip to serve themselves. Just a complete classless place.
To many empty stations with no beer .
Overall ok.
Beautiful interior and patio.
Great food.
Perfeft service.
Very spacious! Great way to serve beer, wine and cider. So many choices. Good food.
The beer selection is fun to explore and has options for everyone. Will come back for the laid back atmosphere and ability to try different selections. However, there doesn’t seem to be a rotation on beers, so you can mostly depend on the same items being on tap.
***I will not go back for the food, due to the ridiculous amount they charge. It’s obscene and prices aren’t located anywhere on their website, so you can’t plan ahead for costs. Gratuity is included and then they ask for more tip before checking out. Don’t be swindled.
Cool place, spacious, friendly service
Vey clean
44 different pouring stations, self serve
Food also sold here

Cool spot, with a little bit of something for everybody. Beers are a bit pricey at about $0.70/oz, charged by the ounce for pour-it-yourself = $11 for a pint. But, 44 taps, with a nice variety from several local breweries. Plenty of to-go beer and merch. Pizza (separate payment) is delicious, too.
Good drinks, good food, games available to play
Wings and pizza always excellent. Great beer and seltzer selection. Great place to bring kids and play games!
They have THC drinks in non-alcoholic section of their selection. Only indicator was flimsy paper signs. They're only safe drink for those who don't want to be under influence of any kind were in cans and bottles behind their counter. There even a fountain drink that didn't have any substance harmful to pregnancy was water but it wasn't even obvious. Stay away if expecting or have family.
Great food, great selection of beers! Highly recommend.
