While the restaurant is clean and ownership is nice, the pizza crust is tough and one-toned while the sausage and pepperoni lack flavor overall. With the likes of Tortorices, Ninos, Rosatis, and Penguinos within spitting distance, the $16 you'd spend on a medium pizza here seems better spent elsewhere.

Nice to see the pizza assembled right in front of you! Good selection and you can pick your own topping combo. They skimp on the fresh basil leaves, but I usually tell them to double it!! They also have salads and delicious gelato. Their wings are decent, but I wouldn't come here just for them. The owner is very friendly.

Did a online order through their website..Delivery was an hour later than posted...Which I understand if they're very busy..My issue was the pizza was cold and burnt when delivered...We paid the $6.00 delivery fee and tipped the driver $5.00..So I called to speak with a manager...He was extremely rude and really didn't care about the issue..Said he would call me back...He never did call me..We wound up ordering from Tortorices..Which was hot and not burnt...Do yourself a favor and stay away from Fire Crust Pizza.

Fire Crust pizza has been open for a while, but I wish I had known about it earlier as the food here is terrific. My husband and I ordered the I'm Meeting and BBQ Chicken Bacon pizzas. The crusts were similar to a new York style pizza. The toppings and sauces were also very good. This pizzeria serves Chocolate Shoppe ice cream. And who can pass up ice cream. We got a scoop of Zoreo and Exhausted Parent ice cream. We are never disappointed by Chocolate Shoppe, and this was no exception. I highly recommend Fire Crust pizza great pizza and ice cream.

My experience echoes that of what others experienced, though somewhere inbetween. The restaurant itself is located on a nice space off Lake Cook Rd in a small strip mall that's usually not too busy. The parking is fairly easy here as there is plenty for the amount of customers that this area usually gets and it's conveniently right in front of the restaurant. The restaurant itself is nice and spacious with plenty of chairs and tables to accommodate a good number of guests at once. The decor what you'd expect from a fast casual pizza restaurant, with a large oven clearly visible where they cook the pizzas. The food here is quite tasty. The texture of the pizza dough is quite nice with a little mix of crispiness and chewiness. It's ever so slightly burnt as well for a nice flavor and I liked how the ingredients were mixed pretty evenly over the pizza and pretty fresh. The chocolate shoppe ice cream was also a nice surprise, with a good selection of flavors and fairly generous size scoop (even for the kid's size). The food here is definitely the high point as I have no complaints about the portion size nor preparation. The biggest points of contention are the price and service. Without a coupon, the base price of the pizza is $15 which is a bit higher priced than competitors with a similar product like Mod's Pizza or Pie Five Pizza. $11 to $12 is probably the price point I'd have the pizza at since the product is pretty similar. The other point is the service which is not exactly bad or lacking, just a bit unusual. It's a bit more hands-off, let them know if you need anything -- instead of the standard friendly service where they walk you through options and check on how you're enjoying the food. In this way, the restaurant is probably more conducive to carryout than a sit-in experience. Overall, I did enjoy the food even if it was a little pricey without a coupon and with some small changes I think the experience for dine in could be better.

Really slow service. Seems like they’re still getting the bugs out of their process.

Ordered online, twenty minutes later arrived at the location to find they hadn't even started it. Told me it would be ten minutes. Waited ten minutes, another employee arrived and then they started preparing my food. I was on a lunch break and tight on time. This is not acceptable if the online system says it would be ready five minutes before I actually arrived. It's meh pizza to begin with.

Absolute NO!! Online w/ Cici's or a $5 Little Cesar's .These are very small and thin pizza crusts with a drizzle of pizza sauce and very little cheese and you'll be charged on the average of $16 per per pizza. I wasn't impressed and I won't be going back.

I am on the fence with this one. My friend and i ordered an Aloha pizza and wings to split. The wings were absolutely disgusting and super fatty. They gave you 2 one and a half inch slices of celery which was laughable. So I definitely don't recommend. The pizza was tasty but there was literally one tiny piece of pinapple on each of the 6 slices and the other toppings were fairly skimpy as well. I think it was very pricey for what you get and i don't think it will last very long. Slyce in Waconda is so much better!!

My family & I were driving home and my brother noticed this new place and we decided to try it out. When we walked in the place is very clean and friendly. We saw Chicken Tikka and Paneer Tikka on the menu and we got excited. We ordered 4 pizzas, 2 were build your own & 2 were from their set menu with more toppings added on.The crust was so delicious and crispy! They hand tossed the dough in front of us and we got to add any toppings we wanted. It was very flavorful and crispy and cheesy. Was a perfect pizza night. The owner was very friendly and caring. He made sure we enjoyed our pizza and time there. The ice cream after was the perfect dessert to walk out with. I’ll be definitely coming back here again!Thank you ??
